Thanks to the events of Anon-A-Miss, Sunset is no longer a Canterlot High School Wondercolt. She still desires to finish her studies, and accepts the assistance of the Sirens in getting enrolled at the other school in Canterlot, Crystal Preparatory Academy. There, she has to deal with all sorts of new drama, from faces both new and familiar, as she struggles to not get wrapped up in the status quo of the Academy.

For the longest time Princess Celestia has yearned for the chance to reconcile with her former student, Sunset Shimmer. So when she receives a desperate plea for help in the the form of a hastily written message through an enchanted book, Celestia vows to do everything in her power to save her.

Hi. My name's James. If you're reading this, then one of two things have happened. One, you're another human that got sent to this shit hole and was able to find my shelter. Or two, you're one of the ponies that found me and I'm probably rotting in a cell or getting experimented on. If the former, good luck. If the later, go fuck yourself.

The Storm Kingdom was left in shambles after the demise of their King in the Battle of Canterlot. Rebellions skyrocketed across the Empire, leaving it in a perpetual state of war in an attempt to keep everything together.

Equestria and other nations snatch the opportunity, bringing an endless amount of aid to all rebels, while not directly involving themselves in the conflicts.

As the situation was beginning to worsen for the Storm Kingdom, their new King decides to open peace talks with Equestria with the hope of ending the violence, but then a new figure decided to put his hat in the ring.

He is feared by both the rebels and the Kingdom itself. Everything except his name is virtually unknown in Equestria and its allies. But what the rebels named him should be enough to tell what he was going to do.

They called him... the Butcher.

Sunset Shimmer always saw herself as the hero of her own story, her pride would settle for nothing less. Such views were challenged after spurning the controlling, demanding influence of her mentor, and finding herself an outcast. But never one to take life's hits without hitting back, she finds her way back to Canterlot Castle and via the relics hidden there, to a galaxy so much larger then she first thought.

Beyond the mirror portal, the colony ship Star Strider and its fleet has proudly wondered the galaxy for aeons, spreading Earth's many children among the stars and life to the barren worlds surrounding them. Planning on taking advantage of her new home, hitchhiking aboard the alien star ship far from Equestria, Sunset sets in motion plans to bringing technological and magical revolution to Equestria, intent on sating her lust for recognition and forwarding her uncertain path to alicorn ascension.

However it seems fate would derail her plans for the second time when she returns to Equestria, only to find it empty and pillaged. It is evident Earthlings are not the only creatures exploring the galaxy, and there are others that covet Equestria's bounty of magic with uncompassionate fever.

But Sunset is no pony who would see her ambitions crumble beneath poor circumstances, and knows that any calamity just another opportunity in disguise. Her victory will not come come through conquest, but with some good old fashioned heroics. After all, she has an unwitting rival to catch up to when it come to saving the world.

When Sunset Shimmer told Twilight and her friends that she had been erased from their memories, they didn't believe her. While magic was now something the girls were familiar with, removing someone from their memories just was flat out impossible... wasn't it? They all told off the bully and went back to their time together enjoying the beach. Except now, Twilight can't shake that something is seriously wrong.

Getting hit by a truck usually hurt's when you're awake during it. Not for me though; I got sent somewhere else by it. Now I'm in a land of colorful ponies, as a quite big, six-armed snake-lady with six sword's. And now I have some "sun worshipping" ponies after me... Because I'm different or something. All the while i'm just trying to survive. At least I got some friend's...

As the smoke clears away from the crater created by the Rainbow blast at the end of the Fall Formal battle, Twilight Sparkle was unpleasantly surprised by what she saw...

What if the rainbow blast reverted Sunset in age instead of just removing her demon looks? That combined with her lost memories, has given Celestia a second chance in raising her sunshine the way she deserved to be. As more than just a student.

[Cancelled] After capturing Twilight during A Canterlot Wedding, Chrysalis decided that keeping her and Cadance locked up underneath the place would be too risky. Instead, she forced them through an ancient mirror-portal said to contain an impenetrable prison created by Starswirl himself, shattering the mirror in the process.

Now, Twilight and Cadance must adapt to a new world and new bodies. Without any magic at their disposal, they must attempt to build a new portal and prepare to face Chrysalis on the other side while also maintaining the guise of normal high schoolers. Luckily, they aren't the only ones interested in reaching Equestria, and they'll cobble together an unlikely alliance of beings from both sides of the mirror to help them in their quest.

A Canterlot Wedding and Equestria Girls AU that, rather than aiming to be a fixfic, simply takes an alternate (and perhaps longer) path.
