Twilight had no idea of where the door had come from. It was there, and that was a fact. When it was there, at least, which wasn't always the case. But she would find out what was behind it sooner or later. It was just a matter of time. The door was always there, after all.
When Ponyville's pegasi suddenly bolt from the skies, Fluttershy endeavors to uncover the reason why.
This story was written for the Barcast's Halloween in April story contest.
Twilight has been studying so much recently, so Rarity comes over to try to shake her out of it.
Then, the next day, Rarity comes over again.
Winner of the second Spookfest competition for the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Group.
This is also a prize fic for the very talented Snow Quill, who graciously provided the cover art.
When Rarity woke up, she noted two things. Firstly, she saw that Pinkie was already awake, staring out of the window into the sky. And secondly, she noted the colour of said sky.

When Rarity wakes up, her bedroom is big. How big? Well, how big can a bedroom be? Bigger than you'd expect.

After her problems with time travel, Princess Twilight Sparkle hid away all information about that branch of magic. The spell that Starlight had used was destroyed, but even knowledge of it was too dangerous - no lengths were too much when trying to avoid changing the past or creating paradoxes.
Unfortunately, she underestimated just how determined her friends would be... and just how foolishly they would use it.
