The Door

It was an old, rusty door, the grey paint worn out and chipped in places. It stood there, in the side of the building, and Twilight wondered what was on the other side of it.

She needed to go back. Her mother would start to worry about her if she didn't see her soon, and she shouldn't have walked so far away from the park anyway. But now she was very curious.

She barely made it to the latch with her height. Thankfully, it slid open with surprising ease. Just a peek wouldn't hurt, right? She'd look inside, then run back to her mother. No one would need to know she'd sneaked out there.

With a small struggle, the little filly pushed on the door, and watched it open before her.
