Fluttershy spends the day with her two girlfriends, but she feels a quiet discomfort. As an asexual mare, she can't join in on everything Rarity and Twilight do together. Is she really good enough for them, or is she just bringing their relationship down?

My first purely fluff story, without much comedy. Just warm feelings.

It's these mornings Bon Bon always looks forwards to. The mornings where she can wake up next to the love of her life. The mornings when she's truly happy.

It’s been a week since Princess Luna returned, and it has not been easy. Everypony still fears her, and she finds it difficult to accept the new changes that were made in her absence. This Equestria no longer seems familiar to Luna. If only there was a way she could get away from everything, to go somewhere tranquil and familiar.

The moon.

Twilight has a beard. It's, like, a really big deal for some reason.

Canterlot had been Lyra's home for a long time. She had many fond memories of it, of the streets, of the shops, and of the ponies she'd met there. Her favorite memory of Canterlot, however, was leaving it, and that was because of the soulmate she found soon afterwards.

Over the years, Rarity has found herself drifting apart from her friends and struggling to keep in contact. She's surprised at how much one of them has changed.

Silver Mint is entirely to blame by getting a remix of It's Gonna Work in my head. The image in the video has Pinkie looking a lot neater and prettied up (not that she isn't pretty!), and we made a few jokes that this was Rarity doing Pinkie's mane and makeup...

Then this story happened.

This story is a sequel to Patterns

It started with doubt, and despite their struggles and best efforts, Twilight and Rarity were forced to make a difficult decision. Months later, they have to confront the fallout, and maybe rebuild bridges that were broken.

Written as an entry to the second Quills and Sofas Expanding Universes contest, wherein we were given another entrant's story and wrote a sequel, prequel or related story for it. I got Undome Tinwe's wonderful Patterns.

Princess Luna has always avoided the subject of the number of thrones in the Canterlot royal throne room. But when a filly asks the weighted question to her face, Luna decides to answer – and finds that some recent events have changed what she believes that answer to be.

Beneficial, but not necessary, to have seen the Season 5 episode 'Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?' before reading this.
