Luna was never banished, Discord is Celestia's court jester, the Elements of Harmony do not exist, and Twilight grows more pompous and more egotistical every day.

Celestia is not amused.

This story is on indefinite hiatus. I might revisit it, so it's not cancelled, but I'm not currently skilled enough as an author to do some of the things I wanted. Believe me, I've got the drafts to prove it.

Everything was supposed to be fine. Princess Celestia had given Twilight Sparkle her final test, and anticipated that by its completion, Twilight would join the ranks of the illustrious Alicorns. She was going to be a princess, and would learn the ways of royalty.

And yet, even the best laid plans can be ruined by even the slightest change.

30 years after Twilight's ascension she has taken a student. On this day she decided to tell her student about the story of Nightmare Moon. Twilight expected Shooting Star to just accept everything she was told. She didn't. Now Twilight is making the ultimate decision. She's going to tell Shooting Star the real story of Nightmare Moon.

A long time has passed since Twilight and her friends first discovered the Elements of Harmony, and she has since become a full-fledged alicorn princess. In that time, she's done many great things.

But the one thing she hasn't done is tested herself. She's never seen the full extent of her powers.

Growing bored of Equestria, and seeking the ultimate challenge, Twilight decides to see just how powerful she really is by attempting the impossible.

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

The newly-coronated Princess Twilight Sparkle uses her new authority to start a new project that could revolutionize magical studies: ENEIGHAC, Equestria's first computer.

When showing her latest pet project to her friends, a malfunction causes Fluttershy to see glimpses of an entirely new world with endless possibilities. Seeking an escape from her day-to-day frustrations, she uses ENEIGHAC as a gateway to the Digital World, where she can vent her anger without doing any real harm. But is the Digital World really just a simulation?

Shortly thereafter, a group of human children known as the Digi-Destined learn of a new threat to the Digital World's safety. A powerful digimon know as Vespimon, who seeks to continue what Ken started as the Digimon Emperor...
