Realization that they may never be free, or worse, may even die while sealed in stone, the three are nothing short of depressed and panicking. But this is not the end for them yet, as year later, a force has freed them from their prison. But is this new savor a friend or foe?

Queen Chrysalis' mother paid a heavy price when a misunderstanding caused a sudden "purge" of changlings from their peaceful existence alongside ponies. Years later, Chrysalis continues to struggle against her past and the regrets she holds as she attempts to find a way for her own to survive.

Searching for any records King Sombra may have left behind, Twilight learned of the shadowy king's tragic past. However, she also discovered his horn, in which his mind and remaining power were contained. Determined to learn how to use his Dark Magic for Good, Twilight brought Sombra back to Ponyville with her. After all, what could he possibly do as a horn? ...Or will he stay that way?

Things have changed.

When Rainbow Dash unexpectedly arrives at the Badlands Hive, her open displays of hostility leave Princess Twilight Sparkle and Queen Chrysalis perplexed. The situation only devolves from there as differences in this Rainbow Dash are discovered, and it soon becomes apparent that two worlds have collided that were never meant to meet.

Twilight and Rainbow, each with scars both physical and mental, have to find common ground before time runs out. If they can’t, then the pegasus may become stranded in this world of changelings forever.

Today I did not wake up in a place I recognize. Not that I can remember how I got here. Where even is here? A castle of crystals in a magical world of pastel-colored talking horses. It's like a dream, only I'm also a wearied, mutant bug monster.

What in the world is a changeling? Oh, and what is that about a war we're apparently responsible for? This looks like it's shaping up to be a hell of a new day, at least, if I don't get squashed like a bug before it can even start.

This story is a sequel to Blue Fang

After the events of Blue Fang, the Fang Gang starts to settle into the new hive. All seems peaceful until a threat arises from the darkness. The Fangs, once a gang of outlaws are now tasked with stopping this threat, not only for the hive, but for all of Equestria.
