Oh, right; he's married, too!

But when Shining Armor finds out that Flash Sentry has gotten in over his head far more seriously this time, he races to the rescue; but what if everything is not what it seems? Shining Armor secretly planned to ask Cadence to marry him, but Princess Celestia calls him to her chambers and expresses her... concerns. This belongs to my before-mentioned Harmonyverse AU. Pre-season 2 of the show, headcanons are brimming per usual; one of them being that Celestia is Cadence's adoptive mother.

This was the main issue that plagued the asexual community. Being swept under the rug, ignored, or treated as less than the thinking, feeling individuals they were. The misconceptions were rampant, misinformation widespread, and many, many people would rather condemn others than try to understand the nuance and differences that made them who they were.

So, Princess Cadance, openly vocal and proud about her asexuality, to the point of wearing clothes that matched the colours of the asexual flag, takes the first of many steps to try and educate ponydom and create a place where her and others like her can feel safe and accepted.

While set in the Mothling AU, this was written as a stand alone piece that does not require you to read the others in the series.

Instead of dealing with the sudden attack of the changelings, Twilight Sparkle faces a dilemma that she is far less prepared for: her brother getting married...to another stallion! And not just any stallion, but her former foalsitter Prince Bolero! The stallion that she had a crush on back when she was a filly! Or at least she thought she had a crush on him, her parents certainly teased her enough when she got older. Nonetheless, how will Twilight make peace with not only who they are, but who she is?
