Sunset Shimmer had always known she was destined for greatness. She was more than a prodigy - she was a pioneer of magical excellence, to say nothing of her intelligence and leadership. The Crystal Mirror had shown her what she could become - what she was destined to become. An Alicorn. A Princess.

With trepidation, she approached the lustrous portal in front of her. Her hoof rested on the surface for the briefest of seconds, before she slipped through into the world beyond.

Several months have passed since Camp Everfree. Twilight and Timber see each other on occasion, Rarity and Fluttershy usually keep to their own. Pinkie's been super busy with helping the Cakes. Sunset has been writing to Princess Twilight in Equestria. Applejack has taken on more responsibility on the farm. Everyone spent their days separate from each other. Rainbow decided to try and change that with the purchase of a digital camcorder.

She sat down with one of her closest friends to discuss what she wants done with it.

High School is over and Sunset Shimmer is embroiled in the most ironically difficult and stressful task ever set before her...illegally faking her way into law school. It's a terrifying prospect, but one she might just pull off with the help of her best friend, Twilight Sparkle.

Of course a much bigger problem is the siren that has taken up residence in Sunset's spare bedroom.

Sunset Shimmer, prized pupil of Princess Celestia, has taken the most brash decision of her life. She will now have to live in the human world for years before being able to return. Fortunately, she has the help of some natives to endure this experience.

Fair warnings:

This is a different take on Sunset's story pre Equestria Girls, where things happened differently. This story will contain Sunset exploring everything she possibly can about the human world, leading to subjects some might find uncomfortable. So you have been advised.

There is no sex in this story, but there will be talk about sex, although it'll be later on. Nudity will be common but not in sexual situations (at least not early on).

This story will also deal with bullying, but not too dark.

She thought her life would be simple: go to school, get a great job, and live the rest of her days, happily. That is, until she meets Starlight Glimmer, a girl who could run academic laps around her with ease. Maybe she wasn't as smart as she thought.

The Everton AU follows Sunset Shimmer's human counterpart as she navigates her way through life, school, and the relationships that come with it.

Twilight Sparkle wakes up one morning, to find she's living with her family and is a filly again. She's not in Canterlot but in Ponyville though, and that's just the beginning of the changes. Like her new school, and the identity of the Headmare...

Sunset is caught when attempting to steal Twilight's crown. They show her friendship and she learns the error of her ways. Upon returning to the human world Sunset is determined to make real friends. She attends a party hosted by The Dazzlings, unaware they are the legendary Vampire banished by Starswirl the Bearded. Human world AU. FIM mostly Canon. AdagioXSunset. Vampire Dazzlings.

Sweetie Belle's life always contained a fair amount of frustration. From a lack of magical ability to her flank's stubborn refusal to develop a cutie mark, Sweetie has many a reason to envy her classmates. But her friends share many of those problems, making them somewhat bearable.

But at a certain fateful wedding, the changelings seem less interested in putting her in a pod, and more interested in attacking her outright. More evidence starts to appear, and she starts to realize something about herself that she would much rather forget.

While this story contains several adventure-like stories, especially in the beginning, it will mostly focus on slice-of-life material.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Sunset Shimmer, the former pupil of Princess Celestia, entered the mirror hoping to find a place where she could plot her revenge and prepare to enact it.
Instead she finds herself face down in a swamp, cold and alone, lost to the machinations of the dark, that is until she comes face to face with a being almost as ancient as her old mentor, and maybe just as wise.

Sunset Shimmer is the model high school student who is envied by her classmates and is well known for her exceptional grades as well as her immaculate appearance. But underneath her "ideal" front is a mask, an egomaniacal ploy to gain popularity. But upon entering Canterlot High, she is knocked off her throne by another student known as Twilight Sparkle, and Sunset Shimmer is now setting her sights on her none-the-wise classmate with every intention of destroying her life. Will she be able to adapt and win or will she learn something more?
