[humanized] The greatest cultural authority in the land of Equestria, a group of young minds chosen directly by the two High-Princesses: Celestia and Luna; to be represent them. Six young women who holds a great influence on their land's future.

How were they chosen? This fanfiction holds the tales to answer that question.

Ponies wanted Celestia away, because in their minds, she wasn't able to protect them anymore. They forced her to give up the Sun to the Unicorns, taking away most of her powers, and then they threw her out of Canterlot.

Now, a year later, they called her back to Canterlot. Why? What could they possibly want from her?

One shot AU in which the first two seasons happened, but without the presence of the Mane 6 (First attempt at real Pony Fic)...

Celestia has lived for countless centuries. Looking over Equestria like a caring mother and tending to the needs of even the smallest of creatures. But now her time grows near. As she looks down upon Canterlot one evening, she has an unexpected visitor - a small, exuberant filly.

Her name is Death.

Spike carries each of the most important ponies in his life home after a long day.

When Applejack was a filly, she'd been told a hundred times by her parents that she was special. This... this isn't what she expected.

A Metroid Crossover

A meteor, resistant to magical manipulation, crashes in Equestria, Planet Equis, and soon spreads an unknown poison throughout the land. Containment is all but failing and the Princesses have little power to stop the spread of the Great Poison. The Elements of Harmony are of little use as no knowledge exists of this threat that consumes all life. Help comes from a certain Hunter, clad in metal.

Samus Aran will not only fight for her life as always, but her own sanity as well as these ponies that she begrudgingly starts seeing as allies. New horrors and abilities await her as a reason to fight slowly festers within her, possibly unlocking something she had been denied for so long: Friendship.

Notes and Resources:

This takes place after Echoes. The events of Corruption will have not happened yet. In terms of MLP, consider everything up to and including the Crystal Empire. Princess Twilight does not exist here, etc. The official Metroid Timeline can be found here.

As well, this story references the manga in many places. Reading of it is not required and I try my best to explain the context, but if you're interested, both volumes can be found here.

EDIT: This story was written over two and a half years, beginning in 2013. You'll probably notice the difference in writing as the chapters progress.
