While out searching for a certain book, Princess Twilight Sparkle caught wind of Queen Chrysalis near her castle. Knowing Starlight Glimmer was there and that Chrysalis still wanted her head for "stealing" her hive, Twilight assumed the worst.

But once she rushed to the castle, instead of a fight to a death, Twilight found...something else.

And that might only be half of the surprise!

After being warned to stay away from Starlight Glimmer, Spike and Eric Reed run to her room as fast as they can, where she had locked herself away in. They believe that Starlight is angry at them for something, but they have no idea what it is.

What could Starlight be upset about, and what will her friends have to do to earn forgiveness?

In fact, did they even do anything wrong?

This story takes place after the events of the story A Giant Adventure to Equestria, which explains why and how the human OC Eric Reed is in Equestria, and how his bonds with the other characters formed.

However, it won't be necessary to read that story to understand this story, and laugh. All you truly need to know is who Rarity, Spike, and the reformed Starlight Glimmer are.

Equestria has faced many threats, which Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Applejack have faced and defeated. But what happened when a threat came that was too big for even them?

It became the business of the unicorn Starlight Glimmer, Equestria's greatest, last-ditch defense. These are her heroic battles.

Though, there is a catch...

One week after they had been the victims of a prank that made them think they kissed and...more after getting drunk, Princess Twilight Sparkle and Eric Reed came up with a prank of their own. The two told the four friends that stuck them in bed together, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike, that Twilight's pregnancy test came up "positive".

After that, mayhem ensued.

One week ago, a spell from Twilight Sparkle to land dates on Hearts and Hooves Day ended in a disaster. It also ended in the "filly code" being accidentally broken, a grave sin that is even worse than bringing about the end of Equestria.

Now, Twilight finds herself begging for her embarrassing punishment to be ended early. Turns out, it was merely the beginning.

Enough will be explained in the story to understand what's going on (and laugh) without having to read the predecessor story first.

After an evening of drinking too much cider, Princess Twilight Sparkle and Eric Reed both wake up in the same bed. Twilight's bed, to be exact. All they remember is what happened before their first cup of cider, but everything after it is a blur.

They look for their friends to ask them what happened while they were drunk, hoping they didn't do anything they might regret.

In fact, would the hung-over pair even want to know?

Spotting Twilight Sparkle in an unusually bad case of "twilighting", Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer try to calm her down. They are quite used to it.

But when Twilight explains why she was twilighting, again, her friends realize it's actually justified this time. They all agree to help Ponyville survive a disaster Twilight believes is imminent.

Will they be successful, and why did Twilight's friends suddenly believe she was on to something...?

Alternate take on Season 5 premiere:

What if the Mane Six followed Starlight into the cave? What if they caught her instead of letting her get away? What if there was also a human living back in Ponyville who had trouble making friends?

This story is an "adopted" story of my friend TheHardie-Boy's story of "Caught and Punished", and that story was inspired by Slave Starlight written by titanictime2

The prologue and chapters 1-4 are from TheHardie-Boy's version, but with some minor edits. Chapter 5 and the chapters afterward are completely written by me. Despite the "Sad" tag, this isn't going to be a downer story and it will have a number of light-hearted moments. There will still be some sad moments, of course.

In the months he's been in Equestria with no way to leave, Eric Reed's beard hasn't grown back for unknown reasons. When he finally mentions it to Princess Twilight Sparkle, she becomes driven to learn the reason.

Eric soon grows fed up of Twilight's persistence and tries to make her leave him alone. But to do it, he must figure out the solution to one question.

What can Eric, a human, do against an Alicorn that won't leave him alone if she doesn't want to?

Desperate for dates on Hearts and Hooves Day, Twilight Sparkle created a spell that would make others ask her to be their date. She's too shy to make a move herself.

But a mistake made the spell go wrong. The one who would get the action Twilight longed for was one that did not want love in this way. Even if she once thought that she would never get enough love!

Entry for the "No Author left unnoticed" Holiday Competition, with Heart and Hooves day being chosen as the holiday to make the story about, obviously.
