Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

E

This story is a sequel to Drill Sergeant Luna

Still lamenting her guards' quick and embarrassing loss against the now-reformed Changelings, Princess Cadance decided she should personally whip them into better fighting shape. Princess Luna electing to train Canterlot's guards herself was a change that worked wonders for them.

However, Shining Armor doubted if Cadance, possibly the kindest of the alicorn princesses, was emotionally capable of training her guards with the same degree of "tough love" that Princess Luna had with hers.

Fortunately, or unfortunately from the guards' point of view, Shining's worries proved to be wrong once Princess Cadance became Sergeant Cadance.

Enough will be explained to not require reading this story's predecessor first. However, check it out if you want to see the details of how Princess Luna's training of Canterlot's guards went and what led to it.

Canterlot Castle's Royal Guards haven't had the best track record when it came to doing their jobs as Canterlot's defenders. This hasn't gone unnoticed by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

When the sisters pondered the reason for their guards' ineffectiveness, Luna concluded that Celestia's motherly nature toward her guards – as well as all her ponies – had prevented her from ensuring they received the proper training. Therefore Luna volunteered to personally turn the guards into buff, mean, fighting machines.

That is, if the guards could survive what the Princess of the Night had in store for them.

Trixie asked Eric Reed to help her with a "saw a person/pony in half" magic trick. However, once the trick being performed was imminent, it didn't appear as if the "trick" would be an illusion nor would "The Great and Powerful Trixie" use her magic to somehow protect Eric. All the latter knew for sure was that most of Trixie's reassurances appeared to be half-hearted.

It only grew more nerve-wracking for Eric when Trixie full-heartedly milked his worsening paranoia that the unicorn really might make him half the man he used to be, painfully.

This story is one of a still-growing series of stories that all take place after A Giant Adventure to Equestria. However, it is not necessary to read any of them to understand this story, but "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" does show the details of how and why the human OC Eric Reed is in Equestria.

If you enjoy this story and would be interested to check any of the other stories with Eric, you can find the list of all current ones here.

Thanks to having some free time, Princess Twilight accompanied the human Mane 7 to Equestria Land in the human world. To the dismay of two girls, what she chose to do first was to play Flim and Flam's infamous ring toss game. Knowing their game was nigh-impossible to win, the Princess's human counterpart begged her to not mess with it.

However, Princess Twilight wasn't a regular ring toss player, but a champion who claimed she had never lost. With just one ring, the Princess of Friendship left herself (literally), Sunset, and even Flim and Flam in disbelief.

Let's just say that more begging and hilarity followed.

Rainbow Dash challenged Discord to a "prank-off." The victor would become the inaugural Equestrian Heavyweight Prankster Champion, and Ponyville would be the de facto ring.

Thanks to a prank-off ruling forbidding even alicorns from stopping prank-offs from being declared and a consequences clause giving them protection (both to Princess Twilight's extreme dismay), Rainbow "Odds-beater" Dash and Discord "The Stone" were set to go all-out for the championship. Even bringing in the ultimate boom-or-bust factor was fair game...

The idea of Discord and Rainbow having a prank war was suggested by the informational dude as a special story I wrote celebrating my 4-year anniversary of writing on Fimfiction or writing period for that matter...

With the first-ever "Kite-con" drawing near and the Friendship Express a mere hour away from departing to Fillydelphia, Kite-con's location, Starlight Glimmer went to wake up Eric Reed. The latter had agreed to accompany Starlight as a consequence of losing a bet to her, but overslept.

However, while waking up Eric wasn't difficult, getting the human to stay awake and drag himself out of bed was a struggle. Even if Starlight would never try to hurt Eric, it didn't mean she'd go easy on him if he kept testing her temper...

Chapters (1)

Twilight Sparkle is a little filly with a big superpower. Shining Armor was more or less aware of this power, but he didn't know just how unstoppable it could be if unleashed.

However, once Shining finally learned what it could do by testing it, he decided to milk the hay out of his little sister's superpower while out shopping.

Unfortunately, things eventually ended with a pony in over their head.

This story is a sequel to Too Late

Believing an interdimensional relationship could only go so far, the human Flash Sentry reluctantly turned down Princess Twilight Sparkle's offer to go on a date. However, after an initial heartbreak period, Twilight decided to ask out Flash's pony counterpart. Without the difficulties of an interdimensional relationship to scare him off, surely this Flash would jump at the chance to hook up with Twilight, right?

Well, let's just say Princess Cadance had sunk the ship a few months prior. The Princess of Friendship did not take learning this well.

This may or may not end with a funeral.

Enough is explained in this story to not require reading "Too Late" to understand what's going on. This story does mention only the most relevant parts of "Too Late", so it is recommended to check out "Too Late" if you want to learn more about what happened when, and immediately after, Twilight tried to ask out the human Flash Sentry.

Chapters (1)

After being hesitant to try due to shyness, Princess Twilight Sparkle finally gathered enough courage to ask out Flash Sentry. While she didn't know it, Flash liked her too, so surely he would accept her offer to go out, right?

Also, Sunset Shimmer might need a tombstone.

While playing the Equestrian version of Jenga with Eric Reed, Starlight Glimmer found herself facing seemingly imminent defeat. However, as a pony with a devious streak that rarely minds "bending" the rules, she chose to use her magic in unfair ways as a last resort. Obviously, she was met with objections from Eric.

But unluckily for Starlight, she forgot her human opponent knew how unicorn magic works quite well...
