OMG THIS WAS HILARIOUS
I NEVER WOULD HAVE BELIEVED IT WAS A M I R R O R

Starlight rested her head on her hoof and slid her gaze to her Plant-Friend that sat on her desk; clearly the more intelligent of her two friends in the room.

Golden.

"Eh, she'll figure it out during the honeymoon. Maybe."

No. She won't, Starlight. Trixie is too dumb for that. You'd think you'd know better by now :facehoof:.

Heh, nice gotcha.

Well played.

THE GAY AND POWERFUL TRIXIE!!!

oh wow Trixie, just wow

There's not many Trixie headcanons I agree with.
Trixie being trans? Doesn't make sense to me.
Trixie and Twilight being sisters? Doesn't make sense to me.

But Trixie getting married to a mirror? Absolutely.

half expecting trixie girlfriend to be her from equstria girls who crossed over so trixie x 2

Y'know, I'm reminded of a certain Greek myth. One with the main character who's name has become synonimous with this sort of thing. Good times.

It's also so much fun seeing Glim-Glam being the sensible one.

Trixie being trans is probably based on her originally being a stallion in early concepts for the character before they made her a mare. Still doesn't make any sense, but sense is optional in this fandom.

Her and Twilight being sisters is just wishful thinking on parts of the fandom with nothing to back it up.

Well, I don't think Trixie herself was actually a stallion, it's just that the original vision for Boast Busters was a male character. The writer Chris Savino came up with Trixie, who can be seen as female in concept art from 2009.

Also yeah, them being sisters has no validity.

I saw the mirror reveal from a mile away, and I still love it. The dialogue flows so well.

Also, I'm pretty sure Trixie half-knows it's a mirror, and just doesn't care.

I thought it was going to be a pool clone

After reading this, I needed some time for...

(Wait for it...)

... reflection. :pinkiehappy:

"Nooo, you?"

"Alas, as impossible as it seems, Trixie has never had a boyfriend. Now I admit, it wasn't from lack of trying. It seems the stallions Trixie tried to court didn't like her very much."

"I wonder why."

"Oh, jealousy mostly.

Hah! nice Ice Age reference!
All in all, very cool story. I love both of the characterisations, so well done.
