This felt strangely cathartic to read.

Yes. Just yes. All the yes.

Really good. Just surprised that there is no mention of Sunset (since she was student of both Celestias...)

Truly beautiful, condensing mountains of world building and future history into a mind-bogglingly compact package of implication, intimation, and human Celestia occasionally slicing through the crap. Brilliant touches all around, especially the name of Luna's motorcycle. You've still got it, Arch. Don't doubt that for a second.

“Were you curious, perhaps? About age? Sunset often told me, before she left, that you were ageless and unchanging. Like the sun.” Celestia lifted her sight to the hills and pointed toward that same sun, drifting through the afternoon toward the horizon.

I absolutely adore this. The only thing I dislike about it is that I didn't get my greasy editing hands on it beforehand. The conversation between the two Celestias is absolutely riveting, and really makes me think about what I might do to explore the same conceptual space. Cos damn dude, talking to your own immortal self? That shit's cool.

I stand corrected.

It definitely felt unedited, but it was still fun to read. Thought-provoking, too.

Stuff like this is why I miss your stuff arch.

Lovely. One of those pieces I'm thankful to have read, and to you for sharing.

Do it.

Oh yes? It was cathartic to write as well, though probably for different reasons.

Thank you!

Simple yet subtle, and very enjoyable. "Cathartic" is a pretty good adjective for this one!

Sad and happy, pleasant yet melancholic... this wasn't the easiest to read (emotionally), but it was a fine one.

Lives may be short, but our children make us immortal.

"Posted unedited" my foot. >:B How dare you weave such lies and/or be so irritatingly good at what you do!

It's possible I may have edited it ever so slightly afterwards, because there was a typo I hated, but it was true at the time!
