Twinkletail

I write poni. I am easily distracted. I like Oreos.

E

Following a long streak of stressful work days and perhaps a bit too much cake consumption (although bringing the latter up would be ill-advised), Princess Celestia is in need of some relaxation. Upon her sister's gentle insistence, she hires a personal-trainer-slash-yoga-instructor in Tree Hugger, despite mild trepidations about it. She keeps a log of these interactions in her journal. How will the two get along? Will it blossom into a friendship, or something more? Read on and find out!

Just don't let Celestia catch you. Whole big "invasion of privacy" thing and whatnot.

Written for Jake the Army Guy's Pony Word Extravaganza contest!

Snarky Celestia is bestia.

And this... Is exactly why I read your stories Twinkle.

She's not calm. She's high

I was almost expecting a joke here about how she reminds Celestia of herself :trollestia:

Would Golden Gate make more sense as the mare of San Franciscolt or whatever naming convention you want to use there? :rainbowkiss:

This was a nice little read. I enjoy Tree Hugger as a character, so I'm always happy to see fanfics featuring her as more than just "that stoner-pone". I would've never thought to pair her with Celestia, but it works in my eyes. It's a really cute pairing here and it was a fun read. Thank you!

I hear that once yaks declare a war, they stop at nothing until a winner has been decided.

Or until they get novelty sunglasses. One of the two.

Second note to self: Consider paperwork to change the name of Duluth. It doesn't really match our usual city-naming conventions.

:rainbowlaugh: I was going to say something, but Celestia beat me to it.

Dear Auntie,

I'm so happy for the both of you! Don't worry, I'll keep this little whirlwind ronance of yours under my tiara. I only made a few dozen copies, most of them for the Crystal Archives. That being said, expect some dragon mail by the time you finish reading this sentence.

Don't do anything I wouldn't do,
Cadence

(In all seriousness, a delightful story of Celestia getting exactly what she needs in a partner. You didn't just sell this pairing, you made it seem almost obvious. Very well done. Best of luck in the judging.)

I said i would finish reading a chapter today, and by Jove i did it.

Their kid will have dreads that billow in the wind.

Holy fuck somebody actually shipped this

I really really like the character you're giving Celestia here.

Aww. Poor Celestia.

Were this simply an art piece featuring Huggerlestia, I'd've dismissed it as a crackship in an instant.

But you...you made it work. And you showed us some great dimensions to Celestia, as well as Tree, to an extent (which I'm infinitely grateful for, she deserves more characterization and attention).

Bravo, good sir. Bravo.
