Time for Spike to betray Twilight, I imagine.
Interesting implications about the sisters' trust for each other.
7364911 If that were the case then I suppose the smartest option would be to take the heart hostage. Probably have to solid snake it though. But hey, Twilight's supposed to be smart, she could use it to power a weapon to surpass metal gear!
That or she could put on a rock concert with her human friends or something.
Let lose the dogs of war!
Anyone else feeling the urge to give yourself a quick whack in the head every time you read Team Creepy talk among themselves? Because I do. It's just so... Weird! Feel like having to reboot my brain after that.
You. Tease.
Bad Twilight! No cookie for you!
7364955
Makes it more likely that Celestia didn't trust Luna enough to allow her to keep her memories. Not a good sign for the elder princess at all.
Spike might not have to betray Twilight as such. Celestia (if that's her) thinks his popularity will sway the Crystal Ponies, but if it's him versus Cadance, I see little way for him to succeed.
Avoid at all costs.
Why? My sister never went into my room, and I never went into hers.

... you haven't even tried yet! You don't know how difficult it'd be until you at least evaluate the situation surrounding him a bit!
Well, since it worked so well with the Crusaders I'm calling it now: Spike's been compromised.
Aww. I was hoping for a more explicit sex scene. With lots of Twilight transparently wanting more and getting turned on, then unable to cum because Luna wasn't pushed hard enough. And, of course trying to rationalize it and failing.
... Caribou? The language reminds me of that universe
I I I I how?
let me get this straight. Celestia's got a secret passage like Sombra in which she can spy on Luna? oh you little vixen you...
Luna has been training to start raising the sun. (Celestia has been compromised) Twilight sends a letter to Celestia and gets a note back in "Blood" like real fake blood or that nasty real blood. Telling her to sent spike to the crystal empire . Twilight then sends a letter to spike to go to the Crystal Empire and save the day (how) just teleport? maybe he could get a ride with Rarity. And then, and then, decides to get some beauty sleep?
I am having serious doubts that Celestia is even conscious. Fluttershy must be the "Ultimate Evil" to be able to do this. How in the hell is Team Crazy doing this?
7365046 Because The Author wants them to? I'm sure they'll clear the path for Spike now that Celestia's been captured if it is indeed a trap and not just a sleepy Twilight.
Calling it, Celestia isn't the one writing the letters. I mean, they're vampires, getting blood to make a letter look more dramatic must be easy as for them! Lul Twilight in to a sense of false security while also getting information from her. Only thing that doesn't add up is the secret passage, possibly they got Celestia to spit it out to make her seem more convincing to Twilight?
7365051
Oh sure Blammme the Author for this one.
Seriously though. Celestia could have been compromised from the beginning. As a new villain you always Beat up Worf
7365071 Oh I dunno, it could be that Celestia was the mastermind all along. Pft
7365081
yep... About right now she's getting ready for sexy fun time in her manehatten penthouse with her two pegasus pets Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.....
7365066
The problem is that the vamponies wouldn't have said to go public, or at least wouldn't have said both to keep secret and go public.
7365103 Depends on how busy they've been on recruitment while Twilight's floundered around like a fish out of water, hopping from one hideout to the next.
7365109
Well, they would need at least three princesses for that to work.
Unless Celestia changed quarters at some point, or Luna sealed off the entrance to her room it seems like Celestia is devious. Not necessarily unreasonable or untrustworthy, but she's been pretty blithe about mind wiping ponies. That's definitional ends justifying the means thinking. If she considers something to be utterly trivial, that's a good way for it to spiral out of hoof.
And in any case, when both sides are employing mind control how can you tell who is on what side or where things may have begun?
7365135 Who knows, maybe The Order is just doing this to placate the Caribou into not coming in to force their culture onto Equestria and making things worse.
At any rate, I mean that if they've recruited enough of the public ponies they could have enough mockery at each attempt to go public to more or less discredit Twilight in the mob mentality view. Horses are nothing if not herd animals.
Twilight should start getting violent, or start dominating the stallions, starting with her brother. Show them that a mare can rule just as well as a stallion can. Or better yet, learn a futa spell, and teach them what it's like to be a B****.
An Idea/epiphany, maybe she should have spike if given the chance send her one of the main devices that the order of spring uses to remove ponie's marbles and see if she can some how reverse the effects via the new device.
7365103
Of course they would it's over. It's probably check-mate in 6.. The castle is compromised, Ponyville will be compromised. (their bringing in Mayor Mayor tomorrow ...
I mean Celestia asked to send Spike? not Twilight? Not the Cavalry? Spike. With "BLOOD". Did Twilight check if its even real? Exactly how is he going to get there? ooohhh ohhh I know maybe he'll self-immolate (that'll show them...) except He'll probably end up in Celestia's Bedroom Or better yet in the Throne room.
Spike: oh man this is gonna hurt.
<poof>
<poof>
Cadance: well hello Spike. what brings you here.
Spike: Errr... is Rarity around?
So even when they're free they're beneath stallions? Fucks sake, do you have to be a Mistress to escape that level or something?
7365160 They'll probably clear the storm from the tracks so the train can operate again now that they don't need it to keep Celestia in the Crystal Kingdom.
7365165
the guy is probably playing "horsie" with Rarity
7365170 Depends on how strong his loyalty to Twilight is.
7365143
Screw Caribou. That's poorly written gorean nonsense OP bullshit. If I even write a HiE fic it'll probably be humans show up and just shoot the fuckers.
As for public support, if either side just explained themselves fully and truthfully and got the public behind them they would deserve the win.
7365174
or he gets a letter at all...
7365175 Alright, how about Viking Moose instead?
7365178 If they're the ones who sent the blood letter then they wouldn't intercept it. If they aren't, then how would they intercept a direct letter to Spike?
7365180
I'm not opposed to the term Caribou, I'm opposed to the shitty story. And considering how much I like Team Creepy's fun, that's saying something.
7365219 Yeah, they have a certain charm that makes it hard not to fall in love with them. :)
7365161
I'd like to know what "emancipated" actually means. Let's not forget, Applejack said her brother was emancipated, too.
Also, if you read back what Shining Armor said, many if not most stallions are going to end up 'cunts'.
7365226
7365229
In the context of this story. I can read a dictionary too, for f*ck's sake.
Sorry, all this ragging on FoE got me riled up.
7365234
Well not a lot of contexts to really apply. It means freed. Big Mac's probably freed from an oppressive system that keeps stallions down.
Perhaps by cunts he means submissives. Keep in mind they were apparently raised in a society not conducive to excess masculinity. Likely a vast majority are too used to submitting to do anything else.
7365234
What's wrong with ragging on FoE?
7365238
I would assume in context it means a mare/cunt who is not beholden to a specific Master/Mistress. Saying Big Mac is emancipated would be a clue that she's trans, or that the chapter hasn't been revised. I'm holding off on re-read until the revisions are done.
7365242 Maybe, but the way Big Mac switches back and forth like it's just a sexual costume might indicate otherwise.
7365243
Maybe that was part of the emancipation? We'll have to wait for the side stories.
7365238
7365242
No, that's probably not it. Remember, it was Applejack, during the dinner, who mentioned her brother had reached the 'age of emancipation'. That was way, way before she showed any signs of being with Team Creepy.
The way AJ talked about it, it was more something to do with being considered an adult, a coming of age. "Even before he reached the age of emancipation, back when he'd have been up a crick should any funny business happen"; those were her words. Perhaps it's something that Normal!Equestria put stallions through and the vamponies turn it around. Nopony had anything to ask about it, so I assume it's something they're all familiar with.
That's why I would like for Twilight to think about that term—maybe we'll get some info then. As long as we're locked to her perspective, we can only hope her neurotic, perfectionist, over-analysing mind decides to give us a synopsis at some point. That's a problem in general, since we don't have things explained that the characters think are self-evident.
The stallions-as-cunts part, yeah, that sounds convincing. Luna even has to remind her master to be properly domineering.
7365242
I like Fall of Equestria. I actually had discussions about it with some folks on this site. A few of them took to redirecting their insults towards the setting towards me instead, to the point where I blocked them because I was tired of being called dirt who drags down the collective goodness of humanity, to paraphrase.
I guess it's become a little triggering at this point.
7365257
Which gives me hope that it won't be as bad as it could be.
7365270
And it adds more fuel to the idea that Luna is to blame for most of this. There's even an explanation for why she gave her dire warning to Twilight in the beginning: The Crystal Empire was the perfect place to keep her captured until they had time to break her. It would somewhat distract her from how her friends acted weird; and that was after they knew Twilight could simply cure an early infection. They had to trap her, and the Empire is the perfect place—or so they thought.
7365278 She could have given that warning on behalf of anyone in charge in the Order, it's not exactly proof she's behind anything. She could just be helping her Master handle his role like a good cunt.
7365285
Also possible. Also, I wonder if Luna can use her dreamwalking powers when her magic is blocked, since Twilight says she (Luna) sleeps with an ounckse.
7365289 Well it requires her horn, so I'd assume she was just sleeping off a taxing round of sex between rounds or something.
7365257
Well, I would be fine having a civil discussion about it. The problems I have with it and Gor are the silly one sidedness. and the misogyny. I mean, they conquered the nation in charge of the solar cycle with magic resistant armor and Discord's say so?
Obviously, looks like Applejack was talking about some other context than team creepy.
7365299
Well, those are some of my biggest fetishes. The setting gets some brownie points from me for that. TSJ does for for it, too. I still try to keep an open, though.
And hey, I'm not going to deny there's some silliness to it. If you get down to it, the pictures have a much sillier tone than most of the stories, and I kind of like that it's so over the top. Again, doesn't mean some things couldn't have been better, in my opinion.
The fight between Dainn and Celestia is one thing I would've written differently, for example. Make it more even, until Celestia gets stabbed in the back by Shining Armor and Cadance. Would've fit the tone much better, I think. Showcase how the defeat comes from betrayal.
On the other hand, I've met someone who thought the Caribou were OP Gary Stues who shouldn't have won, but at the same time had a story in their favourites where some Griffon force conquered Equestria in five days(!). And Twilight didn't even defeat one of the invaders. And they also began crippling the Pegasi's wings. Permanently. But that was apparently okay, since it was Griffons and no sex happened.
7365308
Well, I happen to like those fetishes too. Why I'm hoping for a lot of Rise of Spring fanfiction. I've only tried to read a few FoE but meh. Never managed to catch my attention past maybe the first orgasm. Gor fics tend to be male power fantasies in general, and don't really have depth.
7365308 Yeah, no matter how you look at it, it really shouldn't have been an easy win.
"Oh, you're immune to magic? How adorable. Allow me to use the magical energy it'd take to raise the sun to make it rain warhammers on you and your men."
7365315
Most critics say they enjoy Bruised Apples. I'd suggest you go check it out! It has the upside of being one of the few stories still seeing updates, too.
Also... Between you and me?
I wouldn't mind a serious rebel group in the Fallverse either. Interesting antagonists can liven up the whole setting!
7365319
Screw that. Eternal daytime it is. enjoy the armor as you fry.
7365321
Well, if it wouldn't have pushed it into non cannon I would gladly put a bullet through the Caribou kings brain. Or worse, Sic Megan on him. In the meantime, I'll hope for TSJ to come to predominance over it.
7365324 Banish him to the Newborn Cuties verse.
7365319
You mean like how it happened with Chrysalis?
7365324
That's where we'll have to disagree. I prefer both settings be alive and well for a long time.
I dislike most of the Anti-Fall slaughterfest power fantasies myself. A lot of them are worse Egotrips than FoE has ever produced. Doesn't mean I want people to stop writing them if they can take something away from that. Unfortunately, that's not a sentiment that's often returned.
