Red Flag
Is it time to send in the horde yet?
Aaaand any sympathy for or doubts I might have had about team creepy being in the wrong just went out the window.
6104831 Not mine. I suspect something simmilar to "discording" where it amplifies existing things.
Hmm back to the discord thing idk if he's has something to do with this or if he just knew this would happen and he got out of there before it all went wrong
Either ponies have a very different neuroanatomy or it should be thalamus instead.

Good catch. Fixed here and the other place neuroanatomy is mentioned.
(It was supposed to be thalamus, but apparently I have hypothalamus "on the brain".)
Gee, I wonder why...
This story got a very visceral reaction out of me. The characters were just too real and their emotional pain and manipulations hit to close to home. My heart and adrenaline have been jacked up for the last couple hours out of stress and anger, but mostly worry. With the way things are going this is just making me miserable at this point so I have to conclude this story isn't for me. I'd read a few of your other things over time and while expecting some dark content I expected it to be more like Geldings or Innocence, and less like Fall of Equestria.
Despite not liking how things ended up going story wise and needing to exit now, I can't deny how masterfully this is written and thought out. The characterizations, limited perspective, flow of narrative, the whole written journal concept, the emotional by-plays, the mystery, etc. whether I disagree with the content nor like it, there's no denying how well it's presented. It's been a long time since I felt so strongly about a story and it's characters, negative or positive. So while I won't continue, know that on my way out I tip my hat to you for this incredible writing.

Although I feel I should mention that most of the apparent misogyny and control end up being a red herring that lightens up over time, the story gets much more disturbing so you're probably correct to bail.
