....I could actually see THIS being how Pinkie Pie moved to Ponyville in the show!
I would not be surprised if there was eventually a flashback showing this is exactly how Pinkie met the Cakes.
I have only one minor suggestion: the ending would have been even nicer if it had cut to Pinkie telling Pound and Pumpkin, "And that's how I met your parents and started living here!" to massive cheers.
4395076 I kinda have something like that planned for the twins tales story. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to post it because it focuses more on Pinkie Pie than the twins. And the setup for it is kinda sad.

I just read about the most adorable and innocent pinkie pie story ive ever read. Other stories pinkie pie is just some freaky mad pony and even sometime so "cupcake" but this, this is just so cute. I wish i could read more like this. No, this one should be the formal story how pinkie pie com to ponyville and how become to live with Cakes

I read that Lauren Faust said the Cakes consider her like a daughter, so what better way to foster that feeling than to have Pinkie showcase making others happy and saving their livelihood to instill those level of feelings in her?

Depending on what you're into, if you'd like some more heartwarming stories that could be from the show I have a couple. One focuses on Diamond Tiara and Applebloom, where AB comes to understand her rival and they slowly mend their differences. Another one focuses on the CMC visiting Babs in Manehatten and confronting her old school bully. And if you're a Derpy fan I wrote a short story about how filly Derpy came to love muffins.
