After the ascension of Prince Blueblood, a bevy of unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies suddenly find themselves elevated to the status of royalty. Coronation after coronation has left the Equestrian government in a tizzy.
But these stories are not necessarily about that.

it wasn't irrelevant to my interests. the part where celestia talks to redheart about princesshood and how it's not how everyone is blowing it up to be is very deep and is going to be a favorite scene for a while.
Expansion please. Your one of the few people who have balanced the whole lots of alicorn with an equal balance of logic and comedy.
If even a shitty pony like Lyra can be a princess, where does it end? Princess Carrot Top, Our Lady of Prop Comedy? Princesses Flitter and Cloudchaser, Hottest Twins in the Land? Prince Davenport, Master of Comfortable Furniture and Writing Utensils?!

The 'Headcanon Accepted' lines were jarring... But all in all, a nice story. Vinyl and Lyra as harsh friends comes across natural, while the scenes with Redheart and Celestia are both heartwarming and amusing.

I'm really liking Princess Redheart. Although, you know, I bet Celestia turned down the requirements or something to get Twilight to become an Alicorn. This is probably all her fault, eyup.
So it occurs to me, that a somewhat-redeemed-but-still-idiotic Blueblood could do with a pragmatic mare like Redheart. He's like the Bertie Wooster of the series now-- Say, Red and Blue are both like, colors, so it's meant to beeeee! Bluered/Redblue 4eva.

The fact that hardly anyone is reading your work is criminal. This short, fluffy fanfic was not without a healthy dollop of heart. Every character came off with depth and believability, even the one-noters like Rainbow Dash and Braeburn. You didn't just write a story, you wrote a short glimpse into a much bigger world.
And every word of it was beautiful.

I'm glad you liked the journal style. It's been a personal challenge of mine to avoid using internal monologues, at least since my second story. It always seems like they're one of the more prevalent examples of "telling" in a story.

It kinda shows that Celestia is "human," and makes mistakes, and feels bad feels, if you wanna have my interpretation.
It is quite a cruel scene, though.
