Well, I can't wait to see more from this! But I'm not so sure as to the OC tag, though...not that it's a bad thing, but, as a rule of thumb I am generally wary of them. As long as it's not a self-insert, then I'll be fine.
2122238 Haha, I understand EXACTLY how you feel, and normally, I wouldn't put an OC as a tag. Except that the matchmaker plays a big part, so I really felt I should tag it. I try to only use OC's when I need them as a catalyst for the story, because I REALLY don't want to make a Mary Sue.

I have my ships, I don't know if you'll be adhering to them, but should be a fun enough ride. I must say, Granny Smith was being such a typical grandmother in this chapter. Who hasn't had a similar conversation? You just cant win against grandmothers. Small suggestion, maybe remove the soarin tag until you actually involve him. Ruined just a little bit of the fun. Cause now I'm guessing he's gonna be shipped.
I vote for TwixMac. She'd be best suited for helping out. Do a bit of studying and she'll be a pro in no time, might even be able to find some ways to help improve upon them too. I mean, she lives in a tree with a dragon. One that could easily set the place ablaze but never has. That has to be worth something.

2131548 I'm a little confused as to why you would come back onto my comment page to denounce same-sex ships twice. If you don't like to read them, that's fine, but you're making me feel REALLY uncomfortable by making a big deal about something that has not yet been confirmed or denied. If you don't want to be surprised by a ship, don't get invested in a story that doesn't outright state the ship. I have my preferred ships, and I'm extremely picky about stories that I read for that reason. I'm just saying, there are other options aside from telling someone you're "walking" if you don't like their ships.
And in answer to your question, SHOULD this story end up having same sex ships in it (and I neither confirm nor deny it, because, as I've mentioned, IT'S THE FIRST CHAPTER), my answer is "no". I haven't even gotten into the story yet, and this kind of questioning just makes me feel uncomfortable and rushed, and like I'm basically giving away a story idea before I even started editing the second chapter. Please have patience, keep the drama down, and if we could all keep the "shipping" drama at bay, I would appreciate it. I really, REALLY hate conflict, and I'm not writing a story in order to create any type of conflict. There are tons of ships in this fandom - few people ship them all! There's no need to get into shipping wars. I quite literally haven't gotten into the story, yet.
