One night Twilight was reading in her library, as usual. Then she hears a knock at the door, and goes to find Starswirl the bearded at the door with a present. The present is none other than a book. But this book is Starswil's first ever book, only, it wasn't really written by him.

A dark potion, left by a servant of King Sombra, transports the little filly unicorn to the human world where she gets to meet the humans, including one that has the same hair style as her mane, and has the same name as her. In order to get home, she will have to relay on her human friends, but trouble comes up as human Sweetie Belle's sister doesn't listen to her, she has bullying issues with Diamond Tiara, and then there's the madpony trying to use her powers for some dark deed. Not to mention, her human counterpart may not want to give the pony version up. Will Pony Sweetie Belle ever return to Equestria? Years later, they have opened a MMA gym, and had been training many young ones since; to celebrate their success they used their extra money to order a replica staff seen in KFP 3... yet, things do not go as planned...

The map sends Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack on a friendship mission to help a group of friends who have all gone their separate ways. While trying to help them, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie confront the reality that they might leave home too and Twilight worries about her friends one day choosing to move away.

After her return from the moon and subsequent defeat at the hooves of the mane six, Luna is taken by her sister to Canterlot where the beginning of her reform awaits. She wrestles with guilt, shame, and regret, but with the help of her sister she manages to find new ways to cope.

In a valiant attempt to improve Fluttershy's social skills, Twilight tries introducing her to a wide variety of hobbies and activities that the shy pegasus can use to connect socially with other ponies. Yet somehow, she has only succeeded in isolating her friend from the outside world even more.

Now Fluttershy has yet another social inhibition: video game addiction.
