Desperate to reconnect with her best friend, Fluttershy takes matters into her own hands before Rainbow drifts away for good. However, in doing so, Fluttershy may learn that the situation is worse than she initially believed.

Blitz was once an athletic teen with supportive parents. Then things went really wrong.

Then she was alone and on the road, but she was a tough girl, and she could take it.

Then she met a boy. Not a man, that she learned far too late... but a good boy.

And now the good boy was gone, and it's four AM and the morning sickness has her up and staring in the mirror, wondering where that brilliant rainbow-haired teenager went when she wasn't looking.

For the past year, or so, Rainbow Dash has not been living comfortably in her own home. Her father walked out on her, and her mother has become a heavy drinker. All of that alcohol intake has caused Rainbow Dash's mother to be physically and verbally violent towards her daughter. The athletic Canterlot Highschool student has yet to tell a soul on what is going on at home. This is her struggle.

Now, finding themselves as funny looking, two-legged, small-nosed, mostly hairless monkey people, the two are faced with some important questions:

Can they survive life in this brave new world? Will they discover what the friendship problem is? How long will they be stuck here? And just why do their human counterparts seem to not be getting along?

It certainly doesn't help that she has no idea what her mission will be. And since the map only summoned AJ, she has to go alone.

Written in one half hour for a Quills and Sofas PANIC! Authors were given a very specific prompt that fit a very specific genre, then required to NOT write in that genre. This came out of that mess.

Life's been hard for Sunset ever since the Fall Formal. She's chronically lonely, much of her free time is dedicated to work and studying, and her classmates still don't trust her. Regardless, she's committed to making things right and improving herself one day at a time.

Most of her new friends are trying to make her feel welcome, but everything feels so forced and awkward at first. This is made worse by Rainbow Dash who seems intent on making things difficult for Sunset. Are they just incompatible? Or is there a deeper reason they can't seem to get along?
