It's Applebuck season, and Applejack is faced with the same fields, the same trees, and the same grind as every single year before. Desperation set in a long time ago, but she's not the kind to let it show. Get your kicking shoes on, girl. It's that time of year.

Part of a short series of one-shots based in the same universe and continuity of "The Sun Eater." These quick little stories will deal with the day-to-day struggles of the individual mane six of that universe. They might be funny. They might be sad. They might be random. Whatever the case, they'll all be honest.

Expect foul language, substance abuse, etc.

Please Note: This is a Half-Life Crossover, so there will be gore.... and language... and bad puns/references (Ever seen the Minds?)... Just a warning.

The timeline from the original Half-Life game is split just before the final teleportation scene. Gordon finds himself trapped in Equestria, a seemingly peaceful dimension inhabited by three separate races of sentient ponies. However, the peace is shattered when elements of both Earth and Xen begin to bleed through the second inter-dimensional rift Gordon had created. (The first being the initial resonance cascade).

Terra Jaclyn is just a normal witch, whose dream of opening a magic shop has finally come true. Leaving her painful past behind, she travels to Equestria and sets up in the sleepy little town of Ponyville, but, the past isn't something that ever really goes away.

If you really care about plot, it's about Frosty and Violet (From the sleeper hit Fallout: Equestria - Memories!) experimenting with the wonders of reality-bending magic! Because somewhere in an alternate universe, there's a Frosty doing something needlessly reckless.

Most of these will be crossovers with other things. All of these will be written at 2am or later because I'm a crazy poni. Updates will be intermittent since I'll upload these as they are written. These'll also be editor-less since I think I know what I'm doing.

Greetings and well met to all you Fimfictioneers out there! This is my very first piece of pony fiction, and I hope I do not disappoint!

Times are tough for Apple Bloom and Babs Seed in the coastal town of Hayseed Harbour, but fate has marked them to be swept to sea, in pursuit of dastardly pirates! Apple Bloom takes to the ocean and sky with Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Spike to rescue her cousin! Terror rides the gales, and the four friends must unravel the mystery of the Dread Pirate Pip. The lust for treasure draws both parties on to riches and drawn swords!

As a new beginner, I'd be happy to hear constructive criticism and friendly comments from passers-by.

Mighty lords chart the course of their people, for better or worse, through good times and bad. Their decisions have ramifications that echo across continents and generations. It is in the light of those decisions that the stories of heroes are ultimately defined, whatever side of the lord's reign they may fall upon.
Books are written about those decisions and their consequences critiqued long after most of those lords are gone to dust. A few even consider the personal cost of those heavy choices.

Rose Meadow was the sort who would be all but forgotten by the relentless march of history, save perhaps as set decoration. She was a guard, a professional whose main job was to stand outside an office door and make sure documents weren't stolen and the occupant wasn't unduly interrupted. That said occupant happened to be a head of state didn't matter much, except perhaps so far as to give her a vague sense of pride in her work.
Yet for all their unimportance on the grand stage of history, a guard overhears much, especially when the office door isn't closed properly...

This is a short story set in the world of the acclaimed Hearts of Iron 4 mod, Equestria at War. It is the first entry in the Quenta Roccolië and has been reviewed by Clarke Otterton.

But when that former friend is Galeb, a Zebrony skilled in the art of Neigh Orleans Voodoo, things start to get a little tricky.

When that same former friend is trying to force Trixie into a duel with her very Knighthood on the line, that's when things start to get down right difficult.
