For the last 16 years, the tomboyish teenager now going to Canterlot High named Rainbow Dash lived the life of an ordinary girl growing up in the suburbs of Canterlot City. Her daily worries were usually about if she could ever beat her rival Lightning Dust in the school's soccer games, whether she could ever get over the messy breakup she had with Gilda, or finally admit that she had a crush on her lifelong best friend Fluttershy.

However, one day, Twilight Sparkle, another close friend of hers, took Rainbow as well as their other friends to the place where she was interning at: CelestiaCorp, a highly successful science and development corporation founded by the one and only Miss Celestia and her sister Luna.

When Twilight was showing them around the place, Rainbow accidentally ended up being bitten by one of the mutated spiders that the company had experimented on, altering her physiology and giving her extraordinary new abilities.

But what will she do with these new powers? Will she just use them for her personal gain, or could the brash and arrogant Rainbow Dash actually learn what it truly means to be a hero? Would she ever understand that with great power, there must always be an even greater responsibility to go with it?

The answer to that question would need to be answered soon though...for in the shadows, a deadly new villain was ready to make her grand debut...

This is the story of how Rainbow Dash became the Awesome Spider-Girl.

In the world of Equestria Girls, the Humane Six can enter a "ponyfied" state, giving them pony ears and tails, along with a bunch of other stuff.

Normally, this went unnoticed even by Twilight Sparkle, the "woman of science" of the group, but when she sees Fluttershy in her ponyfied state, outside of a magical situation, she decides to check if prolonged stay in the form causes changes in the person's form.

Or maybe it's just an excuse to be next to Fluttershy, who knows?

Sunset's memories of high school were erased. Not just Mane 6, Canterlot High, but all her memories as a higher-level pupil of Princess Celestia as well.

Also, humans don’t destroy weapons, they secure and contain them. Sunset knows to destroy the memory stone as per Princess Twilight’s message.

The human mane 6 don't remember much either. Their memories are fragmented. It was Princess Twilight, then Sunset, who united them. It was the magic ponies who knew how to deal with magic threats. Not humans with magic.

After the Friendship Games and being the new transfer student at Canterlot High, Twilight focuses on her studies, learns for her new friends about friendship, at home, she watches the news, but mostly about a superhero in New York... Spider-Man. What started as a classic fan girl crush, turn into something special, since she now knows the magic comes from Sunset and her friends, Twilight studies Spider-Man, how he can whatever a spider can, by taking a sample of some DNA from different Spiders, Twilight has created her own altered Spider Venom and she injects herself she with it, she now has speed and strength of multiple spiders. She created a costume using cloth and fiber, she called herself Spider-Girl.

But what Twilight will learn about being a superhero, their always gonna make enemies.

She will learn how to forgive herself while soon starting with Peter Parker, her the friendly neighbour Spider-Man.
