A blue Senna with black vinyls and the starting number 01 raced over the speedy and winding country roads near Canterlot City. On the wheel, there was none other than the best race driver on this side of the planet, and that is Rushing Wind. The two-tone grey man with wild, black hair in the age of 23 bravely raced over the roads, dodging traffic, all without one scratch on his beloved vehicle.
At one point, he found a spot where he could park his vehicle, so he stopped on the lot, grabbed his backpack, got out of the car and locked it. Next, he took off his leather jacket and put it in his backpack. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a Forza Horizon 3 cover art on it, along with regular jeans, oilslick trainers and black gloves.
Now, he threw the backpack on his back and walked over the fields. The Summer sun was bright, and nature looked way more alive than in other seasons. The flowers looked nice, the environment was a nice green color, and the sky was free of clouds.
Rushing Wind took a deep breath. The nice, fresh air of the Summer was so refreshing, and it filled his spirit with happiness and relaxation. Normally, he would use every available second of the Summer to listen around for nearby race meetups, but he was through some tough days in Ponyville and needed a rest. And since the Summer recently arrived in Canterlot City, he intended to not only enjoy racing on the roads, but also enjoy the beautiful environment that came with this time of the year.
So many enjoyable things, Rushing Wind didn't know where to start...
After he walked for a few minutes, he sat down on a rock. Suddenly, a device in his backpack vibrated. It was a dimensional phone that Twilight made for him, allowing him to talk to Rainbow Dash, his beloved partner, at anytime, at any place, whether here or in the pony world.
Rushing Wind answered. He flipped the device open and saw a hologram of his partner in front of him. "Hey, Rainbow Dash. How are you doing?"
"Hiya, Rush. I'm doing good, thank you. The Wonderbolts and I are about to practice for a big show in two days.", Rainbow Dash said, "How are things going on your end?"
"Really sweet. It's Summer here, the perfect time to just cruise around or just take a walk over the fields. The weather is perfect, Summer sun, lively nature..."
"Sounds perfect to me. I wish I was with you too.", Rainbow said. Rushing Wind knew that she already saw that world, but only during dire times, after which they stopped Blueblood.
"Maybe next time. I hope practice goes well on your end. I'll try and find time to come watch you guys fly.", Rushing Wind said. Under no circumstances, Rushing Wind wanted to miss a performance of the Wonderbolts, one of the best flight teams in all over Equestria, and Rainbow Dash knew that.
"Rainbow Dash?", Spitfire called out in the background on Rainbow Dash's end, "We're starting now, get a move on!"
"Sorry, Rush. I gotta go. Duty calls, you know?", Rainbow Dash said.
"Alright. See ya."
Rushing Wind ended the call, closed the device and sighed. Ever since the two met each other, it was a special friendship bond at first sight. And ever since those two went through several terrible nightmares, Rushing Wind decided to stay in Equestria, and only go back to the other world at some times. Nowadays, Rushing Wind was known as a dimension traveler, and he liked it, since nopony else besides Princess Twilight and Sunset Shimmer would think about such a thing - and he knew the two way too well.
It even went so deep inbetween the two partners that Twilight formed a magic bond between them, in which, if the two stay close to each other, if one of them died, the other died. Like a magical life bond keeping the two of them alive... Rushing Wind never had it with spells, but that was one way to keep the friendship between the two alive until the day one of them passed away...
Suddenly, he heard a voice.
"Oh, hi, Rushing Wind...", it said shyly.
Rushing Wind turned around and saw Fluttershy behind him. When he saw what she wore, his eyes widened. "Sweet Celestia... You look... truly astounding!", he said in awe. He obviously realized that Fluttershy had new clothes on...
