This story is a sequel to Nightmares Are Tragic

After the final fight against Nightmare Moon, Princess Luna has regained her identity and sanity. But she is still weak, scarred by her suffering, and -- save for her sister -- mostly alone in a strange new Equestria, a world which in some ways resembles the old Age of Wonders, and in other ways is very different.

Can she recover her strength, make friends, and resume her rightful role as Celestia's co-ruler? And can she do this fast enough to save the kingdom?

After the events of "Broken Spirit", things couldn't be better as everything is once again in perfect harmony, and Equestria has gained a new guardian. When things first begin to affect the land, nopony pays much attention until utter destruction begins to take hold, particularly on Equestria and the realm of Disarray. The rulers of the lands find themselves powerless and desperately seeking the source of the madness, unaware of the darkness they will find in the truth.

Now Discord, the princesses, and the six must team up with an old foe to find answers, and fast. As secrets are revealed, the realms suddenly find themselves launched in a war against the threat, and in the midst of the journey, Discord finds himself becoming more acquainted with his background than he'd like to be, as questions are answered. Is he really the product of demons? And what was his life before he ended up in the care of Aegeus and Astraia?

Book II
Brought out of the darkness of solitude and into the light of friendship, Dusk returns once more to see and learn just what magic and wonder friendship has in store for him. Once thinking he was the most useless, pointless pony to ever exist, he has now found those who care for him and appreciate him for who he is, opening up new possibilities never even considered.
He will join the girls on their adventures and experiences with friendship’s magic, helping them along as they go, having a few of his own and learning and discovering new aspects of himself that become open now friendship is known to him. Along the way, he will also make new friends, challenge his own beliefs and convictions once more and just discover how much more wonderful life is with friends as a part of it.
But that’s not all that concerns him here. He needs to do something different about himself, but what? He has his colour magic, but where exactly did it come from and are there others he shares it with? Twilight may be his best friend but… what’s this new feeling that he has when he’s around her now?
All of this will be explored, as Equestria prepares to see a brand new Dusk.

Now that's just downright creepy. Laugh and cry with us as we try to make sense of the impossible and find a place in a world where ponies don't belong.

Three weeks after the events of Rainbow Rocks, the sirens are desperate. Without their hearts—the jewels that hold their magic—they have no power. They can't sing, can't manipulate people, and worst of all, can't feed. Their only hope is to restore their hearts, and they need to do it soon, before all three of them starve.

The problem is, they're not sure how to fix the hearts. All they've managed to figure out is that they'll need magic to do it, and magic is exactly what they don't have. Scared, starving, and completely out of options, the sirens turn to the last people who would ever want to help them, and the only ones who actually can: the Rainbooms.

Ever since she burst into flames trying to discover Pinkie Pie's sense, Twilight has had terrible feelings constantly tormenting the back of her mind. Nightmares show visions of her burning everything she has ever loved to the ground, and she is enjoying it. Desperate, she searches for anything that can help clear all of these terrible thoughts. Twilight then discovers that a unicorn whose coat was white and hair writhed in flames tried to destroy Equestria in the past. To her horror, she learns that she is destined to be the reincarnation... and there is nothing she can do about it

The Brony Fandom lived long and old. Memes were made, ponies were enjoyed, and lives were rearranged to accommodate. As time went on, the passion that once fired up the community became just a flickering spark, and so the Brony name waned until, finally, the fandom died to obscurity.

That was it for user TutorialBlues88, who swore off his Brony pride after over two decades. But nostalgia one day invoked him to reflect on philosophies of a fandom long since dead. He wondered if it’s okay to turn back, to enjoy ponies once again even if its alone.

In meeting death, reincarnation gave Tutorial the opportunity to discover for himself what friendship and ponies meant to him, redefining and revisiting lessons attended since Season One.
