Applejack and Rarity, two unlikely friends who came from seemingly opposite worlds.

One day, while setting off on a two-pony cruise into the open sea, these friends find themselves swallowed into an ocean of adventure they never asked for. Cast into a world that is truly alien to everything they knew, and marooned on strange shores surrounded by bizarre creatures and horrid dangers; they must fight tooth and nail to find a way home to Equestria.

But the Sea calls to all those in it, and they'll soon find that it's not so easy to leave these waters. For across these vast waves lies a hoard of adventures, mysteries, and tall tales to be told. They'll find horror and hatred, trust and brotherhood, bonds and betrayal, romance and tragedy, fear and courage, sacrifice and glory. Every facet of the beautifully elusive jewel that is the true pirate's life.

After an attempt on his own life. Axle Grey a man from a world left in ruin, finds himself in the world of Equestria just after the Nightmare Wars. Given a quest by Princess Celestia to go to a distance land. He will face many hardships and make some friends along the way to help him fight against the Legion of Night.

Lives are controlled. Communication is monitored. Anything deemed improper is censored. If you want to send messages in private, you need to do it physically, with couriers known as Runners.

Rainbow Dash is a Runner. It's not the greatest job, but it's for a good cause.

The government is hunting Runners. If they think you're carrying information they don't want you carrying, they'll come after you with everything they've got. They have nigh-limitless resources at their disposal: enforcers, vehicles, surveillance. Your life will be on the line until you submit. They will find you and they will hunt you down, and your only defense will be your wits and your ability to run.

Now it's the greatest job.

An experiment in atmosphere, entered in the Science Fiction Contest II because it inspired me to finish it. A thematic crossover with Mirror's Edge; no non-pony knowledge required.

Do ghosts grow up with us, learning and changing as they live their lives on earth? Do they grow up alongside us, no matter how lost and distant, or are they trapped in who they were?

The horrors of the Crystal Empire are behind them, when a tenuous peace maintained by thin bonds unraveled at the mere mention of age-old pains, but the world has fallen silent. Every rumor, every whisper, pulls Silver Spade along the trail of his own mistakes, guided by his guilt, into a trap not even he can prepare for, leaving those around him to ask the most terrifying question: can ghosts die?

The kindling has been set. A flame of vengeance stands at the ready. The blaze will swallow all our heroes have built unless they can stop it. It's the end of Equestria's haunting legend, and the birth of something more.

This is it, the final installment of The Ghost of Coltostrano! What a ride this series has been, and one I never expected to make it this far. Pinkie knows that being a baker means taking a lot of responsibility for your product. The bread has to rise with Celestia. Nopony needs to go through Round Two on the Baked Bads. And if at all possible, you should absolutely avoid serving the kind of 'donuts' which summon an eldritch horror from beyond space and time to destroy the world.

The Cakes keep slipping up on that last part. Not deliberately, at least in that they don't know they're doing it -- but somepony still has to clean up the tentacled mess, and do it by the time Sun is raised. Which is going to be Pinkie. Again.

Break out the caffeine. It's going to be a long night.
