Hello, my name is Ori. I used to have a different name (and species) but since I was pretty much reborn as Ori, I figured that would be my name too. Anyways, my story starts at a con I attended dressed as Ori from Ori and the Blind Forest (because he's frikkin awesome and cute as heck). I bought something from the Merchant and the rest you know.

In a world where ponies and humans coexist in what can hardly be classified as harmony, Canterlot's daily regime is interrupted when one of these controversial creatures falls out of the sky and, to his surprise, doesn't die. This man seems to be the same as the rest, and calls himself "George Trestale". However, through a complete accident, George discovers he's developed magical abilities far beyond anything he could imagine. Unfortunately for him, almost none of them work correctly, and on top of that, he has no idea who he is or where he came from.

Thinking himself to be a god, and wanted by Celestia on the sole pretense of being human, our main character is tasked with running from the authorities, finding out what sort of power he's supposed to have, and most importantly, discovering who on earth he even is. Such begins the story of George Trestale, the unluckiest "god" in Equestria.

Rated Teen for some violence and language.

This was my first remotely successful story, and as a result it's not exactly all that good, nor is it representative of my current writing ability. You can of course read it if you want, just expect things to be somewhat sloppily executed.

Due to a series of cosmic coincidences, a bored god of chaos, and the unpredictable effect gravikinetic quirks have on each other, an interaction between [Zero Gravity] and [Warp Gate] ends with a group of superpowered high schoolers landing in the Everfree Forest. It’s a good thing that UA’s motto is “Plus Ultra,” because these teens may need to push past their limits just to survive their first night in Equestria. Let alone figuring out a way back home.

Well, at least the locals may be able to help—assuming Bakugo doesn’t scare them off first.

Sunburst has a plan to improve the frozen north, but Celestia likes it just the way it is.

This story is written for the Noble Jury's third monthly writing contest thingie, with the previous writing contest winner, alamais, giving the prompt, [The Frozen North].

In a freak accident (while the mane six is on vacation to manehattan), Discord decides to twist space and time itself on April Horseshoes Day; meanwhile, the Vortex returns to destroy the Tides of Time in an attempt to lock Ecco in the Tides forever, giving them the chance to strip Earth of all its living inhabitants once again. The result? Twilight is warped to an ancient Earth, and Ecco is warped to Equestria. Can the mane six discover what has happened and get Discord to stop? Can Twilight survive the Vortex in a dark game which is virtually impossible to win? In the end, one thing is for certain - Ecco cannot bear Twilight Sparkle's element of magic to stop Discord, and Twilight Sparkle wasn't programmed to get retries for the levels in Ecco the Dolphin III's source code...

"You take the cover of two different disc holders. One is for a strangely unreleased MLP episode, and the other is a snatched Ecco the Dolphin III demo playthrough. The person who gave them to you told you to play them both at the same time on your computer, and line them up so that both CD's would hit 13:13:13 in their running times. He seemed a little weird, saying that through ahead-of-its-time quantum physics, dimensions could be crossed if the conditions were right - but for a strange reason, he didn't tell you who he was - he just told you that he wanted you to test the theory for him, because if he revealed his true identity, it could make serious headlines on the news and his career as a quantum physicist could be kaput. Having nothing better to do one Saturday night, you take the two discs, and slide them into your computer. But first, you read the descriptions on the back of their covers:

After several years of Ecco's entrapment within the Tides of Time, the Vortex returns once again, vowing to have their vengeance on Ecco, and their victory over Earth, once and for all. Shattering the Tides of Time to pieces, the Vortex turns their eyes to have their way with Earth - but will Ecco really be trapped within the Tides of Time forever?

Celestia has been preparing for Luna’s return in exacting detail, most of which is being kept from the other ponies. Unfortunately, a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

Shining Armor wakes up one morning to discover that the entire Day Guard has quit, save for a single Pegasus named Cloud Skipper. Their reason: anger over thinking they're being replaced by the Night Guard, made up of a single Night Pony named Midnight Blossom. Before he can pull the situation together, Nightmare Moon returns. Still, one can only make the best of a bad situation.

But even after Princess Luna is restored, the problems don't stop. It's nearly impossible to recruit any more Guards, leaving the reparations in the hands of three ponies. Nightmare Moon isn't entirely gone, still haunting the dreams of Skipper and Midnight. Certain warlike cultures may notice Equestria's weakness and invade. And the old commander of the Day Guard, Cumulus, may have had other motives for his disbanding them...

Truths will be uncovered, identities will be questioned, and nightmares will come to life. But maybe, even in the eternal night, a light can be found and followed to the dawn.

Notes: British spellings used for all except names. Also, Hasbro owns My Little Pony, and Cloud Skipper and Midnight Blossom were originally created by Equestria-Prevails on Deviantart. The only thing I own is this particular story.
Rated Teen for blood and occasional uncensored swearing, but no detailed gore and no sex.
