As the war between Autobots and Decepticons waged on, it became apparent to Optimus Prime that he and his team had to leave Cyberton in order to survive. However they soon found themselves awakened on a new world after centuries of sleeping. But this was no world with humans having advanced technology. This was a world that was powered by steam and magic.

If it's during the show, then you have a lot more classic plots of the episode and seasons to go with. But with the Transformers being involved.
But if it's after the finale? You have to come up with original stuff with the Autobots and Decepticons.
I like it all save for the part with Luna. With no real background on her origin, save for Starswirl finding her & Celestia as foals, her appearance as a young foal at the end makes it feel forced.
Also, I quite enjoyed your take on Optimus Prime. He has a nice personality of OG Optimus & WFC Optimus.

Nice choice of setting this after events of the Movie. Since you clearly said you have a distaste of the "school of friendship" from season 8 and 9.
And the "robots in disguise" order by Optimus makes little to no sense in this setting?
Considering that Equestria is quite literally a magical medieval fantasy, have little vehicle technology besides antique trains, boats/ships, and blimps.
Makes more sense and way easier for the Cybertronians to fit right in our world where technology is vast with tons of many different vehicles way back in 1885 of the very first automobile to modern day of 2024.
And Tempest Shadow is going to make another big mistake of her life.
Ironic that this very poor decision she has made, will most definitely make everybody else to have very good validation to NEVER trust her after this.
She's going to feel like a total idiot when the Decepticons reveal their true motives.
And I have a very bad feeling that this will further mess up her "redemption plans", and make everypony/everybody else distrust her further, even worse than Discord with what happened with Tirek and from Season 9 in canon.
