Every season, Rainbow, Pinkie, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy get together for their Sleepover.
It's always a night filled with fun. Only, it's a night filled with... a lot of fun. Maybe a little too much fun.
And, believe it or not, by the end of the night...
Even Pinkie Pie just might admit it.

Big, big Special Thanks to Ninjadeadbeard, for putting up with my rough drafts, patiently editing through them, and, of course, for being wonderful friend.

Spike considers himself to be a strong individual. Healthy, happy, but most importantly, sober.

Unfortunately for him, that changes during a night time Summer festival courtesy of Pinkie Pie. After a few dances and spiked drinks from Ponyville's delinquent Berry Punch, Spike finds himself getting drunk....by accident of course. And before he realizes what had happened, he finds himself in his room the next morning sleeping on top of Griffonstone's newest resident baker Gilda Gruff.

Spike will soon see if he is to come out of this situation beaten to a bloody pulp, or come out with a new special somepony to share his feelings with.

(I figured it would be interesting to try my hand at my first shipfic)
(Be gentle with me on this one, this is another one of my experimental fics)

This story is set in the Optimalverse, and I strongly recommend reading the other stories in my continuity first.

In this AU, Sunset is still recovering not only from the trauma she suffered from being accused of posting the students' secrets, but also from her breakup with her now ex-boyfriend Flash Sentry; she decides to move to another city as a result.

Five years later, Sunset is attempting to make ends' meet when she spots a job hiring at a mall for a spot as one of Santa's Little Helpers. Enter (quite literally) a young man named Bobby, who works as a security guard at the mall that the Santa Meetup is taking place in order to help his family make ends' meet themselves; he himself is recovering from a nasty breakup sometime ago.

Sunset and Bobby hit it off quite well, despite their repeated insistence that they have a complete lack of chemistry. Of course, this isn't completely true, but for different reasons. Bobby thinks himself as unworthy for the love of a beautiful girl like her, while Sunset believes that this new love interest is too good to be true and is unwilling to open up to him...like those totally clichéd holiday romantic comedies that they both know and hate (and love at the same time).

Twilight Sparkle has been living in Ponyville for almost a year now, and the long-awaited Grand Galloping Gala is just a few days away. But three strangers have come to Ponyville, bringing with them the promise of great change.

One is the enigmatic Raven, who reveals little of herself beyond vague generalisations but who appears to have some history with Twilight and her friends, even if none of them can ever recall meeting her before.
Making much more of a bang, literally, are Prince Lightning Dawn and his sister Krysta; together they bring astonishing revelations about the history of Equestria, while Lightning also brings a stick lodged in his posterior. But Twilight can see something underneath his often unappealing manner, and as he bends towards her she begins to wonder just what it is she might be feeling towards this stranger from the stars.

Can Twilight open Lightning's eyes to a whole new world, and whole new way of living beyond the grim austere demands of duty and necessity? Or will Lightning's nature drive away not only Twilight but also his best hope of salvation?

Unbeknownst to either of them the fates of worlds and stars and even an entire galaxy are bound to these two, the virtuous princess and the half-made knight; and their journey has just begun.
