Yen Sid, receives a message from an old friend of his asking for the assistance of a Keyblade Bearer. Dark and mysterious happenings have suddenly started appearing in Equestria. Sora is sent on a mission to take care of the situation starting by looking for the world's key hole and locking it. As a request on Yen Sid's part, Sora will also remain there for a year to train and unlock abilities he never knew he had to prepare him for 2nd attempt at the Mark of Mastery and become a Keyblade Master. However, he will need the help of his new friends to activate it until he can learn to do it on his own. Of course this doesn't mean he'll be the only one getting something out of this exchange. His friends will be gaining some new powers along with him. The question is, will they be able to take on the Darkness that is slowly making it's presence known to Equestria. One thing is certain: Things are gonna get crazy with Sora and the Elements of Harmony.

I do now own Kingdom Hearts or My Little Pony nor do I own any pictures that you see in the story.

I do not own the background music, and it is optional for the reader to play them at certain parts of the story, you are free to not click on them if you feel like it. they are there basically help with the atmosphere of parts of the story.

Discord had one last trick up his sleeve to play before being locked up again: he's turned Equestria's timeless protector into its most dangerous threat. The kindhearted princess that ponies loved and adored is gone, replaced by an alicorn of iron and blood that forged Equestria out of the fires of pre-history.

Can Twilight Sparkle survive being the student of a pony who never had need of the magic of friendship or will she be forced to sit on the sidelines as Equestria irrevocably changes around her?

After surprisingly coming to life, Midnight Sparkle is more than ready to tackle on the adventure called life. Her "sister" doesn't really share her excitement. Velvet and Nightlight are pretty much lost. Shining Armor is as unhelpful as always. Cadance feels guilty. And the Rainbooms are ready to pull off another rainbow-laser-beam exorcise.

A young filly wakes up in the Everfree with memories not of her own nor of any creature that ever walked the face of Equestria. Meanwhile, Princess Luna is still having difficulty remembering her own past and is tormented by ancient scenes of chaos and death that seem so distant from the world she now finds herself in. Twilight and her friends get involved in an effort to help heal old wounds but what do they do when the innocent are guilty by proxy? What will wash away the sins of the past when they are only ours through blood?

This is not HiE. Not exactly, anyway. Also, that description, while 'poetic' and accurate in it's own way, makes this story seem way more emo than it really is. At least, as much as I've done thus far.

Edit: This is not a retake on Past Sins. At least, not consciously. I had the idea for a while and actually started it before Past Sins (I think) before giving up. If I was affected by Past Sins, well, can't help that and I hope it's not the case.

Celestia's council is not happy about how Celestia has decided to let Luna stay in Equestria, fearing that Nightmare Moon might return! So one of its chairmans takes action and it is not for the better. This story takes place a short while after the first two episodes. Luna is having problems fitting in and is being hated by almost everypony and Twilight is still very new at the whole friendship thing.

Twilight Sparkle was a daughter to Nightlight and Twilight Velvet, a sister to Shining Armor, and a student to Princess Celestia. That was who she was, nothing more and nothing less.

However, on the longest day of the thousandth year, her world will change forever. A secret kept even from her will be revealed and her life will be forever changed.

A different take on the Nightmare Moon incident with a slightly darker outcome.

Time had passed since the events in Canterlot. As for Twilight, who is still trying to get used to living in a new age in Equestria, still has nightmares about her time as Princess Black Iron. This has captured the attention of both the Princess of the Night and the nightmare that lives within her. In an effort to help both Twilight and herself, Princess Luna has taken it upon herself to remove these nightmares living within them. Unfortunately, this backfires.

Friendships will be tested, allies will be made, former villains will be reformed, and an entire nation will tear itself apart. It's up to Twilight and her friends to restore harmony in Equestria before darkness strikes again.

Some authors wish to live in the worlds they create or just want to be able to visit it, to escape from reality at least for a little bit. Lauren Faust considered the thought from time to time, but never really wanted it.
