When the burdern of rejection becomes too much to bear, Spike casts his life in Ponyville aside for a clean slate. A re-imagination of his own character at the expense of the feelings of his friends. Days, weeks, months, and even years go by as Rarity lives in the regret of her mistake when she realizes the worst thing possible— she loves him, yet she pushed him away because of her shallowness. What happens when the wayward dragon returns home?

While cleaning the library, Spike comes across a book hidden in Twilight's bed. At first it seems like an ordinary book, but he soon finds out that his longtime friend has been holding some feelings back. But what should Spike do? Should he open his heart to Twilight? Or will he crush her feelings?

Rainbow Dash used to not think of Twilight Sparkle as anything more than a simple friend. But that's soon about to all change when they get trapped in an "interdimensional portal for the next 3 days. In that time what exactly will they do...what IS their to do except....talk. During their time together what will they learn about each other and most importantly, About themselves.

Losing a family member is never easy but Applejack makes it look like it. However, her friends and family can see through the facade and it takes something special for the cow pony to open up.

So Twilight, being the good friend she is, decides to calm him down as much as she can. However, she may have been a little too nice to him, because later that night Spike begins to have romantic dreams about her. At first they horrify him, but eventually he begins to like them. Then he finally begins to understand why he keeps having these dreams; he's beginning to fall in love with his best friend, but will she return his affection or leave him out in the cold like Rarity?
