A rainy night at a bar really brings out stories from within ponies. During a game of poker, Equestria's rogue list, including Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Discord, and Sombra, plus another, the baddies start sharing stories. The similarity; the telling of how they almost won their most famous defeats.

Loosely based on the episode, "Almost Got 'Em" from Batman the Animated Series

This story is a sequel to Chrysalis's First Royal Meeting

Twilight's attempts to open Chrysalis up to the idea of friendship continues with an even greater challenge: Her own friends. The relationship between her friends and Chrysalis has always been an awkward one, neither side willing to take that step toward each other in the name of friendship. It has gone on for far too long for Twilight, and she finally has concocted a plan that will put an end to their awkwardness and bring all of her friends together in the name of friendship.

Clearly this was going to be the most successful sleepover ever.

Remember how well Starlight imagining herself in a holiday story worked for making her come around about the love and warmth of a day like Hearthswarming?

Who's to say a similar tactic couldn't be employed with more hardened villains...like a certain fallen changeling queen? Even if it's nowhere near the holiday season in Equestria, a little yuletide story never hurt everypony (especially not one with a great narrator).

Rainbow Dash has a problem. Whenever the weather is bad, (due to her own idiocy) she goes to the local lesbian bar and gets completely hammered. Twilight has had enough of it. She says that to keep Rainbow from drinking and sleeping around, Rainbow must get herself a good marefriend. That way, Dash will stop ending up in Twilight's house. So Dash goes on the hunt for the best mares in Ponyville.

Queen Chrysalis also has a problem. She wants to take the elements of harmony out of the picture, but she doesn't know how. When a drone tells her that she can take out the mane six by 'getting in' with them, she sets out to seduce one or more of the pastel horses. When she hears that Rainbow is on the market, she turns herself into a stallion that the Queen thinks the blue pegasus would love.

Unfortunately for The Queen, Rainbow is into mares, and she is too dense to figure it out.

This story has cursing, sex jokes, and jokes about lesbians. None of the things in this story are meant to offend, but be wary that the faint of heart or easily offended may not want to read. For the sake of making the story more adult in nature some of the characters do or say things that may seem out of their cannon character. That's the way it is when you make a more adult story about cartoon horses. You have been warned.

Twilight isn't having a very good day. An experimental spell blew up in her face, an army of changelings is attacking Canterlot, and she just died. Yet somehow, it looks like it's going to keep going downhill from here.

Given the chance to correct what's gone wrong, Twilight swears she's going to fix all this even if it kills her. Which it will. Frequently.

Twilight has no idea how she's supposed to go about dating. It always seemed so mundane and unworthy of her precious brainpower. Now she's trying to romance Prince Blueblood, and has no idea what to do.

Fortunately, Chrysalis has some free time.

The Changeling Queen. Evil Mastermind, willing prisoner of Equestria, and Princess Celestia's significant other. That Chrysalis, was going to be offering her a bit of romantic advice.

There was no way, that Twilight could see that going well.

Twilight just got to the human world(again) and hears the whole situation about the Dazzlings. Adagio sees that she can be a threat and decides to take care of her. But not by getting rid of her, instead she wants Twilight to join them. How will they do that? Who knows? Will Sonata get her tacos? Just read and find out. Only slightly dark.

Sunny Flare and Indigo Zap aren't exactly the closest members of the Shadowbolts. But if they're going to give this "friendship" thing a shot, they should at least try to get along. And what better way to do that than over some frozen treats? Except maybe almost literally any other way...

A rather odd ship between Sonata Dusk and Lemon Zest. A friend of mine showed me this pairing and I kind of began to adore it! It is mostly wrote in Sonata's perspective.
