Being a fanfiction writer is one of Shining Armor's greatest traits than being a captain of the royal guard. After finding out that nopony made a fanfic on FiMfiction Ponynet (Ponynet will be mentioned in the fic for future reference), he takes it as his obligation to make it happen and be the first. Deciding to take a break, he leaves his room, accidentally knocking over a magical potion that wets his work on paper, bringing Mane-iac to life. She is persistent in believing that she is in her world still and that he is her husband, causing the poor stallion to struggle with his life, hiding her from Cadence and the rest of the pony society, and trying to figure a way to return her back into the fictional world.

Life can be a cruel mistress, can it not?

Hearth's Warming Eve is meant to be spent with family and friends, new and old.

After months of beating back her old ways, Starlight wants her first Hearth's Warming with her friends to go off without a hitch. The presents are all wrapped and ready, Twilight's castle has been decorated, and a few visitors from Our Town came in by train to spend the holiday with them.

But Starlight isn't the only one who put thought into her gifts. After all, Hearth's Warming Eve was meant to be spent together with those she was closest to.

Even if she thought those bonds were lost many years ago.

A few days after the Nightmare Moon Incident, Spike awakens to find Twilight acting a little...odd. Or odder than usual anyway. All of a sudden she's being all motherly, sure of herself in ways she's never been before, and even more outgoing.

But…it’s kind of creepy how she just seems to know everypony’s name, or their habits, and even some stuff nopony else should know.

But she's still good old Twilight...right?

Confronted with the overwhelming responsibility of motherhood, the young mare has to decide whether she is truly up to the task of being a single parent. For a pony who has proven her dedication, intelligence, and strength of character countless times, armed with the bonds of friendship and love, it shouldn't be a difficult choice.

But, as with everything Twilight has done in her life, the circumstances and decisions she must manage are anything but simple.

This is a realistic view on how shipping would actually happen in the show. Almost every pony has been shipped with everypony else, but this is what would actually happen if two ponies ever attempted at a relationship.
