Prince Blueblood thinks he is the perfect gentlecolt, but his aunt doesn't agree. Princess Celestia has decided to send him to live with Princess Twilight Sparkle in Ponyville for a month. As he learns how to live with the 'commoners', the prince bonds with the princess, and learns what it means to be a true friend.
Note: Currently on hiatus because of another project I'm working on.
A good premise, but it felt a bit rushed. I would have liked to see a bit more of Blueblood's thoughts, and Celestia's sudden decision to just send him away felt a little awkward. But you seem to be paying attention to your grammar, and the story promises to reveal Blueblood's better qualities (maybe not chivalry, but perhaps compassion or loyalty).
I look forward to reading your next chapter.
Yeah, i also felt the intro was a bit rushed. I mean, i like the potential this story has. But, just work on more dependment on the first part of the story between Celestia and Prince Blueblood. :) I want to see where this goes :)

Yeah, I'm planning to do more with that.
Thank you for keeping this ship alive

No problem.
So far, I like what I'm seeing. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Okay. I like the premise, but the time is completely wrong. Why did Celestia decide to do something now about Prince Blueblood, instead of years ago when she first heard how Blueblood treated Rarity? That just doesn't fit.
What does this have to do with his behavior at the Gala? He wasn't there to make friends.
So... insert every "Blueblood is sent away" story ever. The End.

There will be more explanation on that as the story progresses. Sorry for the confusion.
This looks like it is going to be a good fic can't wait for the next chapter
6442067 or was he??
I think what would make this line better for the story is, replace 'friend' with Person.
6443807
That seems good, but he's not a human.

Thank you for your constructive criticism. I hope to improve it in the future.
6443810 well he's as human as politicians.
I hate to say it but with how abrupt Celestia was early in the first chapter, I was jarred right out of the story within a few paragraphs. This was disappointing, I love a good redemption story and this one looked like it would fit nicely into that genre. I've marked this to read later, so I will try again when I'm a bit more relaxed and have the time to write down a more thorough critique.
Okay, why did my first comment about Celestia waiting so long to do this get a thumbs-down?
6444055
I didn't do it. I wouldn't do that to someone trying to help.
Color me intrigued, I want to see where this goes.
I'm surprised Celestia raises her voice at her nephew now when she didn't shout at Discord turning Equestria into a realm of chaos, Chrysalis threatening to enslave all her little ponies, her sister Luna refusing to lower the moon and make way for the day, or Twilight Sparkle driving a princess bride to tears right before her wedding.
I mean, why now? What's worse about what Blueblood did that makes Celestia lose her cool like this?
Be careful here. The only one that knows why Blueblood is going to Ponyville now is Celestia. The reader might understand her motives, but Blueblood and Twilight aren't too sure. To Twilight, he is being sent there to learn some manners and maybe learn about friendship. Blueblood thinks he is being sent here because of a minor misunderstanding. I'm still wondering what was the straw that broke Celestia's back?
I'm looking forward to the next chapter of this story
On an date you did not mention here, Prince Blueblood was forced by Princess Celestia to move out of his home temporarily and to engage in interaction with the Princess of Friendship herself, Twilight Sparkle. Could these two royal folks live together without driving them crazy? (Hum Neal Hefti's Odd Couple theme here.)
The scenario you gave Blueblood and Twilight Sparkle appears to be based on The Odd Couple, which started in 1965 as Neil Simon's famous Broadway play, then was seen as a motion picture starring Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon in 1968; I have a VHS copy of that film. It was followed by a successful ABC television series (1970-1975) that starred Tony Randall and Jack Klugman (later reprised in a series of Eagle Snacks commercials). An unsuccessful Black version was seen on said network during the 1982-1983 season, which starred Ron Glass (a cop on Barney Miller & Randy Carmichael on Rugrats) and Demond Wilson (Lamont Sanford on Norman Lear's Sanford and Son, the most famous thing the late great Redd Foxx was associated with, alongside his quite raunchy Lp vinyl records). Later, there was yet another, and much more unknown, version featuring women in the title roles. One of the more recent, at one point touring the US, stars Jamie Farr and William Christopher, both former regulars on the hit TV series, M*A*S*H (CBS, 1972-1983). This scenario was also adapted in an episode of Rugrats, also titled ''The Odd Couple''.
I have the evilest, most wicked smile on my face right now.
So many ideas of what Blueblood should endure! He could harvest apples at Sweet Apple Acres, or basically anything that involves getting muddy.
Any hope to see more of this story again? I miss it.
Tracking this in case it gets continued in the future.
Good story, would like to know if or when it gets finished though.
Please maybe continued this story
