When Applebloom is over at Zecora's hut one day, Applebloom asks Zecora why she always rhymes. This brings Zecora to remember her life back in Africa, and she remembers the day she was forced to leave her family and everything she held dear behind and start a new life.

Zecora is getting close to the Apple Family. Day by day she grows into a figure that could join their ranks. Granny Smith knows best how to handle that. But her solution may, somehow, be worse than what her grandchildren feared.

Almost right after Applejack finished her apple bucking for the day, a heavy downpour washes over Ponyville. On her way back to there farmhouse, Applejack finds an odd looking colt who's all alone and is critically injured. After bringing him with her to the farmhouse in order to treat his wounds, Applejack and the rest of the Apples allow the colt to stay with them until they know what to do with them.

Luna has always been the mistress of Dreams. That much survived the long years of her absence. No pony, perhaps no being on Earth is as knowledgeable as the world beyond the material as Luna is...

And so when she becomes lost in the aether, who would know better than she how to free her? That's Twilight's answer, anyway, and so she gathers a team together to rescue the Princess of the Night.

Moon Dancer has been awarded a prestigious grant to study the Everfree Forest and its history, and so she's moving to Ponyville. In the midst of settling in and making new friends, she meets and becomes completely enchanted by a shy, animal-loving pegasus.

But as these two nervous little weirdos start an adorable, awkward relationship, it becomes clear that not everyone is happy about this turn of events.
