Based on a comment on Youtube about a clip showing Blueblood spitting out Applejack's fritter. What if Blueblood has an excellent reason for acting like a complete prat that night? What if there's more to this stuck-up idiot than meets the eye?

Posted in part because it feeds into the Cutie Mark Adventurers continuity, but set sometime between the 'The Best Night Ever' and 'Sweet and Elite'.

Some lessons are too big for one letter. Others are so important that they need to be shared with ponies everywhere. When these two come together, Twilight Sparkle tries something new.

She writes a book.

Everypony remembers exactly what they were doing when they first found out about the griffin invasion. Many saw it as a growing shadow that threatened to overtake all of Equestria. To those in the towns and cities that would become the front lines, it was a terror made real. With Canterlot in flames and Princess Celestia injured, many wondered how anypony could make everything right again. I was among them.

But we did it. Together.

These are my experiences and lessons learned during The Great Griffin Invasion, and it’s not just my story. War is a dark affair, but we can always learn something from the worst of times. In fact, we have to. The lessons are too costly to let them go to waste. And maybe, with a little help from this book, we won’t ever forget.

Once, Ford was just a human who led a boring and lonely life. But suddenly, his life is turned upside down as a mysterious golden light not only transported him to the magical world of Equestria, but has also transformed him into a Pegasus Pony without a Cutie Mark! Now, under the identity of "Ford Mustang", he must face many trials ahead of him. Will he be able to blend in with the rest of the pony community? Will he ever be able to earn his Cutie Mark? Can he make it back home in time before the ponies learn the truth about him? And what happens when he starts to fall in love with a certain cyan Pegasus with the spectrum-colored mane? Find out on the incredible journey of Ford Mustang!

There are guns, and ammo. No wings above the treeline. No teleportation. Other than that, it's no rules, no limits. Last pony standing gets to enter the throne room. Last pony standing gets the prize.

These are the rules that every subject in Equestria learns as Princess Celestia decides to host an all-out, all-Equestrian paintball brawl in the Everfree Forest. Everypony makes their own plans and soon enough, factions create in the race for the promise of “whatever their heart desires”.

For some, it’s just a game of friendly competition. For others, the stakes are much higher, and in the Everfree Forest where everything and anything goes, it isn’t long before a series of strange events makes our six heroes wonder if they’re playing paintball... or if there’s something much bigger at play here.

Friendship. Power. Trust. Glory. All these elements and much more clash together in Ponyville Paintball, starring Jodie Foster as Applejack.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:

In this fic you will find that a few things don't exactly make sense when compared to the canon universe of mlp. This is because this story was stared way back in 2012, and a few things that might have made sense when written at the time are now canon-contradictory because of advancements in the FiM series' story arcs. For example, Twilight does not use her wings in this fic, because she became an alicorn long after this story actually began curse you MA Larson. If you're sensitive to this sort of thing, please bear with it. I should also stress that such details are few in this story.

To the next person who says this story is like the hunger games, I will come to your house and stab you in the eye with a spork. seeing as how I've run out of sporks due to the insolence of your comrades, I will funnel elephant shit in your ear through a vuvuzela, wearing a Pinkie Pie mask while Winter Wrap-Up plays in the back at full volume.

Long ago, the ponies of Equestria took to the stars, and discovered a wormhole just outside of their own solar system. Brave explorers passed through the wormhole, and discovered a galaxy ripe for colonization. A gold rush began, and millions of ponies, zebras, griffons and others came through the wormhole in a bid to claim territory for their causes. Just as a new golden age was about to begin, the wormhole closed, and the colonists were trapped in the galaxy, which they had named "New Equestria." Those who survived lived to found great empires which spanned across thousands of solar systems, with each empire attempting to discover the secret to attaining harmony.

Six intrepid ponies each took a step in their lives which elevated them far above the common pony. Together, they formed their own corporation in space, and they became a force of power, economy and harmony. With every step, they avoid danger, intrigue, and certain death (which at this stage in their lives is not the biggest problem). Faced with challenges that no mere pony can accomplish alone, trace the adventures of these six friends as they bring harmony to a chaotic and disharmonious galaxy.

We have traveled across a great distance, not one that can be measured or even fathomed. This place which we now are is one I would call silly, even to this day with much of its true face shown to me. Yet for all that inconsolable childishness there is something else here, something which fills me with dread. I fear that in the time since we arrived choices were made which harmed this world, some of which can never be undone.

All that I may do now is pray, and hope, that Pelor might forgive me for what I have done. For I, a cleric, a savior, a healer, have brought death to this world, to Equestria, and the actions ahead of me are the only ones that might save them. It is for them that I do this, and in the memory of those that are behind me. May my father of mercy grant me guidance, and my friends be at my side, as my tale reaches its end.

It's more of a continuation than a sequel, but whatever.

Comet is the leader of Princess Celestia's personal guard. Angel is the leader of Princess Luna's.

Comet is awake during the day. Angel stays up all night.

Comet likes using a halberd. Angel excels at using claws.

Comet is a pegasus. Angel is a bat pony.

Together, they take on all the twists and turns life hands them. However, things don't always go as planned.
