Having received her teaching degree, Sunset Shimmer is back at CHS to help guide along a new generation with the lessons she's had to learn about magic and friendship.

It's been over 8 years since the portal to Equestria closed forever, and Sunset Shimmer is doing better than ever.

Sunset and Wallflower decide to get a pet together. Naturally, they go to Fluttershy for help choosing a new friend.

Unfortunately for Fluttershy, being able to talk to animals isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Canterlot High's annual student film festival is fast approaching, and the submissions are now under review. But ultimate writer-director-star-girlfriend team Lyra and Bon-Bon are confident they've made something spectacular. It's innovative, it's bold, it's experimental, it's inspired, it's confident, it's... rejected???

Okay, maybe it was a little too out there for the festival... and perhaps a bit too risqué as well. But they can still salvage this. Right?

Sunset never backs down from a gaming challenge, but when she finally faces a boss she can't beat, frustration is getting the better of her. On the verge of giving up for the first time ever, her friends show up to see if they can help, but will they be enough or will this be the first boss she's had to accept defeat from?

There are always questions we ask ourselves. Some are about our decisions, if we could have made better choices in our lives. Others are about the world about us, just what could be done to change it and if it is worth it to even try. It's the questions about ones self, however, that are often the most difficult to ask.

To have Rainbow Dash ask a question about herself leads to an important discussion between her and Vice Principal Luna.

It's been a few weeks since the Friendship Games. This world's Twilight Sparkle is struggling to adjust to her new school and her new friends. Sunset sees this, and resolves to help ease Twilight into their group in any way she can.

A late night encounter, a pep talk, and a little bit of whipped cream – all things that seem insignificant on their own – cause Sunset to reflect on how she feels about her new friend and herself. Is she really just trying to be a good friend to Twilight because it's the right thing to do, or do her motives run deeper than even she realizes?

This story is a sequel to A Perfect Date for the Perfect Girl

Sunset couldn't be happier. She's finally dating the girl she loves, they're spending more time together than ever before, and she's fairly certain that Twilight is just as happy as she is in the relationship. Only one problem: They've been keeping it secret from all of their friends, and haven't thought of a good way to bring it up. Coincidentally, all of their friends have noticed that they've been acting awfully strange the last few weeks. Now it's a matter of coming clean before everyone figures it out.

Sunset starts off her day just like any other. Wake up cursing the sun, nearly dying on the stairs, and worrying about how she's totally gonna confess her love to her best friend today. Totally. Unfortunately, what started off as a pretty normal crappy morning quickly begins to come apart when a certain cute variable gets thrown into the mix. Sunset will definitely deal with this in a chill and relaxed manner, like everything she does. Probably. Maybe. Hopefully.
