There are always questions we ask ourselves. Some are about our decisions, if we could have made better choices in our lives. Others are about the world about us, just what could be done to change it and if it is worth it to even try. It's the questions about ones self, however, that are often the most difficult to ask.

To have Rainbow Dash ask a question about herself leads to an important discussion between her and Vice Principal Luna.

I really liked this one q(≧▽≦q)

You know I can imagine Sunset and Twilight being lesbians and Sapiosexuality means that a person is sexually attracted to highly intelligent people, so much so that they consider it to be the most important trait in a partner.

Haha, Thank you!

Well, this isn't the first time I've thrown Sci-Set shipping into a story. I personally feel like that's as close as you're going to get when it comes to a romantic pairing in Equestria Girls, since the two have such strong chemistry and backgrounds when it comes to dealing with magic in the human world. Didn't know about the whole Sapiosexuality bit, but I could see that as being something someone will identify themselves with. Not sure it fits any of the girls though!

I'm asexual and it's nice to see stories talk about this. Very neat:heart:

I'm hoping I did the subject justice then! I'm Pan myself, so I'm not sure I captured it the subject well, but I always kinda saw Rainbow as Ace and wanted to do a small story exploring that. My lack of knowledge being ace is also why I had Rainbow say she didn't have an answer just yet, but took comfort in knowing she wasn't alone. :3

“The best way to describe it would be someone who finds themselves to have little or no sexual urges what so ever.

Mmmm, sort of, but not really. See, strange as it sounds, asexuality doesn't have much to do with the act of sex and having or not having it. Indeed, a great many asexuals have libidos as great as anyone else's. Asexuality is about a lack of sexual attraction, at least to any gender. This does mean most asexuals don't have much of an urge for partnered sex, but they're still capable of wanting it in general. It's just the act itself that matters rather than who it's with (if anyone - as I understand it, most are perfectly satisfied... shall we say, taking care of things themselves).

To be clear, I'm not claiming I'm any kind of expert beyond my own asexual experiences, I'm just relaying my own understanding. Nor am I trying to take you to task over anything (sorry if it came across like that), since this was mostly quite correct and a very pleasant story to boot. Admittedly, any story that deals with or even acknowledges asexuality is appreciated, since, for such a long time, such stories were practically as rare as a unicorn...

*Looks at what site he's on*

...okay, bad example, but point is, I appreciate the story and thank you for it.

Hey, if that's the only thing I've missed, then I feel like this still isn't a half bad, considering my own knowledge on the subject is mostly been what I've been exposed to. And Luna herself even admits that she's not a master of the subject by any means, so we could just file that bit of info of 'I think this is the case, but I'm by no means official on the category.'

In all seriousness, though, I'm glad you enjoyed it. This was just something that was bouncing in my head for a while now and honestly was something that I felt like fit Rainbow Dash as a character. And considering the fact that I'm no expert on Asexuality and that I was writing a character that I normally avoid like the plague, I feel like I did decently!

Oh, you absolutely did do well, I apologize if that wasn't clear. I just wanted to clear up the one, relatively minor mistake I could see.

Just a few things but your definition of asexuality is not exactly correct, it's not sexual oranges it's sexual attraction your orders have nothing to do with your attraction you can have a high sex drive and still be asexuality, I guess I could just chalk up how it's raised as Luna not fully understanding but I'll just thought I'll make this comment in case you don't understand because it's a common thing that people get mixed up hell I used to think that sex drive with the same as your attraction
