After the Fall Formal, Sunset Shimmer begins acting strangely. Soon, she disappears altogether, leaving her friends worried and confused.

Takes place in between Equestria Girls and Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks.

The nightmares were becoming frequent recently, but Sunset Shimmer had never faltered, however bad it could get.

Last night was the last straw.

With a bicycle, a map, a music player, a purse, a set of clothes and a conviction, she runs off into the night.

It's cold outside. Snow is falling. Sunset Shimmer is only vaguely aware of this, pacing or dancing or something in the middle of a park. But she's dressed as if it were not below freezing. Concerned, Rarity takes the girl in. What follows is Sunset's unsuccessful attempt to explain her addled mind. We think.

This story marks the true beginning of Sunset's Recovery Arc.

Sunset Shimmer watches Frozen and really enjoys it. Her friends don't quite understand her new obsession.

Sunset returns to Equestria to escape the living conditions of the human world. Once she gets to Ponyville to rebuild her life, she runs into a human that makes her feel complete. Except... he doesn't like ponies.

In a desperate bid to get Twilight's crown, Sunset Shimmer threatens to destroy the portal between her world and Equestria. When Twilight refuses, Sunset Shimmer snaps, and brings the hammer down.

Sunset has had the same jacket ever since she came to Canterlot High. Rarity and the girls want to treat her to some new clothes, but some things are too important to be replaced.

Sunset Shimmer needs some champagne, and ends up taking in an air-headed housemate and prospectively reform-able Siren. An uncertain friendship is formed as Sunset struggles to educate Sonata on how forming emotional ties with other humans works, and takes the former siren under her care in an attempt to change her for the better as the siren herself wrestles new vices and old hatreds.

Set in the EQG universe, right after Rainbow Rocks, before Friendship Games.

Rated Teen for alcohol use.
