Just after discovering her cutie mark, Fluttershy met the stallion of her dreams, Big Macintosh.

...Okay, he was still a young colt back then, and 'Big' didn't exactly describe him either; he was just eye-level to the shy pegasus.

That's beside the point though.

Now, after hearing that said-stallion is the big brother to one of her friends, she becomes excited to meet up with him again.

But how is she meant to do that, when Big Macintosh is so... big?

At her lowest point, Fluttershy meets the most wonderful stallion, who helps her out. They eventually fall in love, get married, and have a foal. All they want is a life of quiet domesticity. Of course, given that they live in Ponyville, that probably won't happen.

My first try at MLP fanfic, but not fanfic in general. Be as harsh as you want.

Life can be tough for a farmer. After a rough season Big Macintosh needs something to keep his strength going, fortunately, something worth living for isn't far away.

This is a short fic I did to fill in some time for my other stuff. Feel free to criticise and tell what you did/didn't like. Fic based off of the pic I used for the cover art (full credit to BobtheLurker for his art)

A handsome stallion and a shy mare may finally take a big step. A big step into each other's life. Perhaps this could be a hoof in the right direction for both ponies, perhaps to spend their lives with each other.
The two's hearts throb for one another ,but shyness has kept the wall between them firm. Will this night finally tear it down and allow the bud of love blossom?

Fluttershy moved to Ponyville with a very clear purpose in mind. Find a new beginning. She's created a whole new life in Ponyville. Made new friends. And finally escaped her past.

But now she's falling in love all over again. And she can't risk getting hurt like before.

Is the man who loves her truly pushing her back into what she thought she ran away from? Or is he there to heal her wounds and show her the world isn't so scary?

Takes place during the events of Head in the Clouds.

After the train wreck incident, both Fluttershy and Big Macintosh have developed a strong interest in each other. The problem is, they are both extremely shy ponies who barely speak out about anything. Two months have gone by and neither have been able to act on their feelings despite it being on their minds day in and day out. Is it possible for a relationship, or even just friendship to bloom if the two ponies in question are nearly incapable of voicing their thoughts and feelings?

A story of finding the courage to face your fears and make sacrifices for those you love. It's not important that you SAY how much you care. It's important that you SHOW how much you care.

Big Macintosh is working on the farm, and decides to visit the graves of his father and grandfather. Little did he expect that he'd be meeting the shy pegasus of the Everfree Forest, Fluttershy. After Big Macintosh helps her with an issue they decide to meet up for some tea. Is fate trying to drive these two into each others arms by trapping them in her cottage with a storm?

Big Machintosh and Fluttershy begin a companionship during the first day of their high school lives and try keep each other sane in a school that had already labeled them as outcasts for being overtly shy, among other things. As the year progressed, this companionship eventually changed into something more.

But both lives are instantly changed forever when Big Mac investigates a rumor about his new 'friend'.
