07/21: Featured? After I released a rather...not so well done chapter? It certainly has to be a glitch in the system. Somebrony call the agents Smiths.

Nightmare Moon was enjoying her new life as a high school student, pegasister and future overlord of our world. She had a family, friends and overall a decent life. She didn't plan on going back to Equestria, knowing she wouldn't be accepted back there.

Yet one day Celestia and Luna try a new teleportation spell. It didn't work as planned and now Nightmare and her family are stuck there for the time being.

For years and centuries Luna has lived with the fact, that nopony has ever seen her night. Her subjects shun it away, despite for what she has done for them. Her own sister starts to foccus on her duties, overseeing the troubles of her younger sibling. Luna is filled with hate, anger, bitterness, sadness and jealousy. A dangerous mixture.
Her life changes, when she meets a dark, shadowy Alicorn during one faithful night. This mare shows sympathie and caring. She tries to help Luna the best she can. When Luna fails to ask Celestia for a very certain favour, the time of ignorance had reached its limits. Desperate, angry, sad and frustrated Luna agrees for a deal, that will change her entire life....

I tried to have a normal day today. When I got turned into Princess Luna from a cartoon , I realized that this day would be anything but simple. But that's not all! I have her sister to worry about, these "Elements" I keep hearing about, and I have the original Luna in my thoughts, yelling away! Combine all that with no way to go home, and you got yourself a bad situation. What could possibly go wrong?

I know the Human In Equestria has been done to death, including the turned into an existing pony thing, but I, and a few others, have been surprised that no-one did one of Princess Luna! Nevertheless, here you go.

As always, tell me how I can improve the story a bit, constructive criticism is allowed, and have a good day reading my story!

EDIT 1 I will eventually do a rewrite to fix grammar, OOC, and other thing that have been brought to my attention. However, I will finish the story first.

During one summer day, Celestia is asked to watch after her sister, while their mother is gone for certain duties. Celestia thinks, this task won't be diffcult at all, but she is completeley wrong. Especially because she loses her sister within the first few hours.
Luna is walking into the Everfree Forest and bumps into a dark mare. This mare, Nightmare Moon, is searching for a host and she definitley had not looked for a cub. But because filly Luna does not want to leave her alone, "Moonie" has to play babysitter within the Everfree Forest.

Luna has been wanting to have her own personal guard for a long time, and at long last she finally has one. But maybe she should have thought more before choosing her guard. Now she has to deal with what comes next.

A fair amount of sexual references. Just so you know.

Twilight sparkle and her friends, the elements of harmony has stop nightmare moon. But not for good, as her shadow follows twilight and friends, seeking a new host for her reign over equstria. Will the elements of harmony able to fight nightmare moon's influences, or they will fall into darkness.

Over fifty years have passed since Selene ended up in Equestria as the reborn Nightmare Moon. The bulk of the mane 6 are now old and misses the good times she has had with them.

She should have known better.

Now Twilight spell experiment went crazy and Selene finds herself in another Equestria and meets a pony she never expected to see.

Nightmare Moon is back and she's not alone.

She has discovered the anti-thesis of elements of harmony and raises her own group and army to strike at Equestria.

Her first step was to abduct Celestia, Chrysalis determined to rescue her back have to defeat one of her lieutenants.

When Chrysalis failed she may have to ask Luna's help to rescue her sister and join forces with Equestria to defeat a common threat.

Not realizing that dragging the whole of Equestria was Nightmare Moon's plan all along.

Finally, after years of begging, Celestia gives Twilight permission to access the Forbidden Wing of the Royal Library, a wing so secret even the other princesses can't access it. Twilight rushes to Canterlot, excited for the research potential.
