Over fifty years have passed since Selene ended up in Equestria as the reborn Nightmare Moon. The bulk of the mane 6 are now old and misses the good times she has had with them.
She should have known better.
Now Twilight spell experiment went crazy and Selene finds herself in another Equestria and meets a pony she never expected to see.

Because the Flood need to feed on the Zerg and the Zerg don't. The Flood could infect a few Zerg but the Zerg can kill a few Flood forms (Infection form, Tank form, Combat form, ect.) and boom! You got Zerg that can use the Floods forms against them. Sure the Flood would use the Zerg as combat forms but not much else. As well as the Flood will die out if they can't infect the Zerg but the Zerg can live just fine since they don't need to infect to live.

Past Sins was good until the author keep rewriting it so it fit the show more after season one.
It would be fun if she had ended in the Lunaverse or in one of those fics were ponies lived in the Moon and the planet was uninhabitable due to the Eternal Sun making things damn hot.
