Nightmare Moon raises her in order to shield her eyes from the blinding light from her sister's Sun. After a few seconds to readjusting her eyes, she notice that she is relatively in one piece. She laugh and laugh, and laughed ' A piety dear sister that our little elements of harmony had failed to stop Me! now nothing can stop me from taking my rightful rule and bring about eternal nigh-'

Nightmare Moon froze in place as she knew all too well whose voice it was. 'Celestia!' To utter that name taste like venom in her mouth. Looking over, she see Celestia standings before her. All it took is a look at her, and all the emotions that she keep for a thousand years starts to boil back up. Alll those years of anger, pain, betrayal, and most of all HATE! 'This time I'm going to seal her away into the the bucking sun, instead of the crystal caves under cantrlot!'
A voice called out of her enraged state "Princess Celestia!" Nightmare Moon looks in the other direction where the voice called out, and seeing Twilight and friends who have failed to stop her bowing to Celestia. The respect she wanted, the love she deserved, and wasted on that witch.
"So you dare show yourself to me, after your little elements of harmony failed to defeat me!" Noticing that nopony acknowledging her. Already at the wits end, her cried in a vengeful fury "You dare to ignore me! Your rightful queen!" still nopony even looking her direction."Well, be prepare for no mercy and see why I am THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT!!!" readying herself to strick Celestia as she is walking towards her. Within sticking range, jumping into the air, rushing towards celestia.
As she comes into contact with Celestia, Nightmare Moon passes right through her with no resistance. Landing back onto the ground, she was baffled to say the least. Looking back behind where Celestia is moving towards to. What she doesn't expect to see is another pony, where she was original was when the elements hit her.
That pony was princess Luna, now cowering on her side before Celestia. She was Stunned as the site of her other half was here without Nightmare as a separate being. 'The elements of harmony must have separated her from me, but no matter. As long as Luna has hate in her heart, we will be one once more' with that in mind, all Nightmare has to do is wait for Luna to call for her and take on Celestia. "It's been a thousand years since I've seen you like this." Celestia speaks as she kneels down to her little sister. "Let put our differences behind us, we were meant to rule together little sister."
Nightmare felt a her magic slipping away from her. Looking over the Luna seeing she is thinking over her sister's words. 'No, don't do it Luna! She is lying to you!' Nightmare words fall on daft ears, as she realizes she in no longer on a physical plane and just nothing but a gathering of magic with a mind of it's own. Said magic was dwindling away as Luna's hate slowly remove from her heart. Celestia finally ask Luna,"will you accept my friendship?" 'No! Don't listen to her Luna. She was the reason that was were banished to the moon! We can still take equestria, just keep the hate and don't like it-.' "YES! I've missed you so much big sister!!" Luna crying into her sister's shoulder.
With that declaration, the hateful magic that bound Nightmare to Luna shatters, as Nightmare began to feel weak from all the magic that she had vanishing to thin air and falls into unconsciousness.

Nightmare awakes once more from her trip from the void, only to find nopony in sight. The moon was hight up in the equestrian sky. 'We isn't this just peachy.' She tries to move, but with no success. As her body is too drained from her lack of magic which, what little magic she has left, was keep her current form as a single being and not a mess on the floor.'Curse you Celestia, if not for you I wouldn't be in this undignified predicament!' Forcing her mind and will to a now intangible form, slowly a mass rise from the weaken magical mass. A hooves form touching the ground as it lay, steadily rising and give it a new body
Most of Nightmare's body as it was before, and slightly transparent.
Looking up to the moon, her former prison as a reminder of what was she without.' You may hate me, and shunned my night' she said, no more above a whisper,but steadily growing in volume. 'You can imprison me in my own moon for a thousand years and hit me with a god-damn rainbow!' The volume and fury of her voice much a like the royal canterlot voice shake the ground and crumbles the castle of the royal pony sisters at the final declaration,'BUT YOU MAY NEVER, EVER TAKE LUNA AWAY FROM ME!!!!'
Now bring her voice down in hope that nopony heard that,' Once my power is restored, I'll be coming for you Celestia. I will destroy you with the very tools you sought to destroy me. Then, and only then when your groveling at my hooves, begging for your life, I will end you and take back Luna. This I swear.'
