Close to a year after their wedding, Fluttershy talks to her wife Rainbow Dash about the idea of adopting a foal. Rainbow Dash is unsure about the idea but starts to think it over, and as she does comes to find there's a pony close to both of them that needs them. What will happen?

Turns out that Rainbow still has some secrets.

A more realistic take on the opening events of the MLP movie, where the entire cast is NOT hit by plot mandated incompetence. It is, as expected, significantly shorter.

From birth Fluttershy had always been a weak flier. In junior flight camp she met Rainbow Dash a much more courageous filly than she was. Dash stood up to bullies no problem even when they made fun and called her Rainbow Crash.

Dash takes Fluttershy under her wing which ends in both being the target of bullies. Which somehow results in them receiving anonymous death threats from Fluttershy. Fluttershy's dependence on Rainbow eventually leaves Fluttershy unable to function without her.

In the far-off reaches of Neo-Equestria, a race of actually heroic space ponies venture across the universe to save any planets in need of dire assistance. For nearly a millennium, they served to protect, acting as a beacon of hope. But an ancient evil has begun to awaken from its long imprisonment, and so it's up to the newer generation of ponies to save the day!

But as they do, they have to come face to face with several powerful monsters, crafty henchmen, and their own inner demons as they discover the true meaning of friendship wherever they go. They must make new allies in the most unlikely of places, and work together to bring down the dark sorcerer that threatens all of existence, even as their struggle brings them to a world similar to their own...
