Rainbow often wondered what it’d be like to be a pegasus. Too bad she wasn’t born one. A mare can dream, though. Sometimes that’s all she can do.

It wasn't Eric's fault he hit the alien with his truck. How was he supposed to see a dog-sized horse walking down the highway in the pouring rain? His life would've been simpler if he just left the animal like any other roadkill. But in his injured delirium, the horse spoke.

This accident soon ends with an intimate personal knowledge of just how dangerous magic can be. An ancient rises, tied to a mysterious tome the pegasus was protecting on the night of the accident. A malevolent force grows within those pages, whispering louder and louder about the cleansing flame. But without the spells inside that cursed tome, Eric's humanity will be gone forever.

Fluttershy of the Dragonlands is a beautiful pink and light yellow dragoness princess to the Dragonlands. Her wings were that of a butterfly, unlike any the dragon kind had seen. She was revered for her beauty, and had many a suitor due to being next in line for the throne.

An unusual frost fall threatens the Dragonlands, so she seeks to help her people any way she can.

One day, however, her father catches her in the act of helping, and after a terrible, ill-fated argument with him, she flies away in tears, finding herself lost in a distant wood. There, she discovers a terrible, atrocious secret about her family and their reign, and learns of why and how the frost came about.

Can the shy princess be brave and stand up to her father and end the frost?

It collapsed completely not long thereafter.

Nightmare Moon has been defeated by the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony. However, in a strange twist of fate, none of the bearers are ponies. In an Equestria that has a painful distrust of non-ponies, six creatures come together to ponder the courses their lives took, and the decisions that led them to Ponyville.

None of you know me. And I know why. I'm just an average 20 year-old MLP G4 brony... who is going to a college for graphic-novelists... in the year 2025.

But take my advice: life finds a way to screw with you at every turn. I know that because I had a first-hand experience with something nobody has ever experienced before.

I fell unconsious and turned into Princess Cadance. During a college class! And I woke up in a horse trailer post-transformation!

Life can be so f'ed up!

Now I'm in danger and being held hostage by a bunch of crazy people! But you all know how that ends. Right? Probably not. But do you know what? I don't know either.

This just goes to show that you should never wish to transform into a pony. Ever!

IMPORTANT NOTE! The first 9 chapters are a bit depressing. Read at your own risk!

ANOTHER NOTE: I know some things don’t make sense such as the fact that the government wouldn’t pay for having aliens discovered. But in my defense, the story happens in 2025, and real aliens haven’t really been brought down... I think.

Magic is real, and Derek is on the verge of unlocking its secrets. It doesn't matter that his best friend doesn't believe any of it, he'll still go along to his first real spell. Unfortunately for the two of them, the magic works a little too well.

Soon they're taken to a strange new world of supernatural horses, a world where intrigue and spellcraft are interwoven to an inescapable prison. An mysterious cult dedicated to the worship of the ancient Alicorns has finally brought two of the ancients back from banishment. Their spell didn't quite work out; they definitely expected the Old Gods to be a little... older.

If the two former humans want to have any hope of seeing their old world and old bodies again, they'll have to make quite an impression to their secret worshipers, or else find themselves at the mercy of the same Alicorn sisters who took over Equestria all those centuries ago.

That's only where their problems start. Growing up as a little pony in a town like Willowbrook might be the greatest challenge they've ever faced.
