After Boast Busters, Trixie stuck around, if not entirely by choice. Follow her attempts at working out her relationship and tertiary participation through season one.

After a rough start, everything is coming up roses for Trixie.

Recovered from her injuries, reimbursed for her trouble, acquainted with new friends, and dating the two best pegasi in existence, Trixie can hardly believe her luck. She's gotten more than she could have ever asked for.

It's a good thing she doesn't have history she'd rather not see come to light and secrets she'd rather keep buried. Nor did she claim to have stolen a book once to the only pony in town obsessive enough to do a lot of digging.

Assuming everything is exactly how she imagines, all she has to do now is hold on to her new life.

One year since the abrupt end of her previous tour, Trixie returns to Canterlot to begin her show anew. Despite the initial success it remains clear that she cannot forget about the mare that haunts her memories. Something which is desired and deeply examined by Princess Celestia, however the discoveries of Trixie's true feelings towards her student seek to open a path she had previously only dreamed of leading. A path she swiftly urges the willing unicorn along as she sends the showmare to Ponyville for her next stop in the tour.

When Luna reappeared on Nightmare Night, she was no longer the small filly from before. Now an adult mare, she commanded the same respect and presence as that of her sister, Celestia. Many assumed that this was the result of her powers coming back to her naturally, but that was a lie happily perpetrated by both Celestia and the Gryphon Kingdom.

This is the story of Luna as she struggles with the remnants of Nightmare Moon and her forgotten past. The only clue she has is The Temple of the Stars where her small group of worshipers used to gather, which now lies in ruins and in the clutches of the gryphons. Some things were forgotten for a reason and the past always has a way of returning.

These two facts are well known by Gilda. Pulled along for the ride against her will, ghosts of a forgotten past have come crawling back, intent on dragging her back down to a fate worse than death. All the while, she seeks to preserve the innocence of those untouched by war and tries to protect Trixie from the harsh truth beyond Equestria's borders.

One wrong step and war shall erupt. One wrong step and the world will be plunged into a darkness that would rival Discord.

Hope is not a plan.

Fluttershy is used to nursing critters of all sorts back to health. When she comes across a broken showmare, however, it will take all her patience and care to help the other pony. Especially when Trixie begrudges her help every step of the way. Can she get through to her? And can Trixie learn that she doesn't need to stand alone to stand strong?

Spike finds himself in the middle of nowhere, and with no way of getting back home. For a journey this big its gonna take two, and Spike forges an unsteady partnership with a unlikely pony.

Embarked on a dangerous journey to reach his home Spike is gonna have to keep an ace up his sleeve, call some bluffs, and hope his companion hasn't stacked the deck in her favor. Tempers flare, teeth will be grit, and things will never be the same. Enough napping young dragon, it's your turn for an adventure.
