Ten years after a massive war, Equestria has changed. The Empire now rules over all, giving peace and prosperity to those that deserve it, but some are against this new rulership.
The CMC, a small, raggedy group of smugglers working for the Apple family, are caught red-hoofed by an Imperial patrol. As the friends fight for their lives, they learn about themselves, each other, and the world they now reside in.
Meanwhile, in Canterlot, Emperor Blueblood has amassed a massive fleet and is preparing to smash what is left of the rebellion under the oppressive hoof of his Empire.

Ponies have done some crazy things for love, but Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash have come up with the hair-brained scheme to top them all. Based on the success Applejack had with her ex-automaton husband, they decide to wake up the robots Nil and Null. They don't see the harm in having the machines masquerade as their special someponies for the day. Surely, it won't have any lasting consequences.

After accidentally creating a weapon of mass destruction, Twilight is forced to confront a choice she made long ago in order to assist the war effort and a secret military order.

Yes, Twilight Sparkle can call herself a video game master of many genres. However, she never once touched the aspects of virtual reality MMO’s. That is until she started playing Equestrian Earth. With a whole digital world before her, Twilight felt that her adventures in the MMO would be her greatest adventure yet.
However, this adventure may prove to be the most dangerous as a powerful entity and its legion of hackers have taken over the world. Twilight Sparkle must unite with her fellow gamer friends if she is to prevent herself from getting a game over not just in the virtual world, but the real world. Adventure awaits in a land filled with monsters, allies, quests, rivals, imagination, friendship, and magic.
