Outer space is a quandary for Celestia. She has existed for a long, long time, but even she doesn't know everything. She owes it to her little ponies though, to protect them from every possible threat that could arise. To that end, she explores far and wide as the years go on. During her everlasting quest for knowledge, she meets somepony she did not expect.

After Midna, the Twilight Princess, returned to the Twilight Realm and destroyed the Mirror of Twilight in the process, Link continues to travel around the land of Hyrule. One year has passed, and our hero in green revisits the Sacred Grove in Faron Woods where the legendary Master Sword resides. As he looks at the blade and all the events that was associated with it, a portal forms above him. He is sucked into the portal along with the Master Sword and later finds himself in a grassy field.

This story takes place after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Apple Bloom's parents died years ago in an accident, when she was only a baby. That's what Applejack and Big Macintosh have always told her, and even though they must have suffered a great deal they still managed to raise her properly and give her all the love her parents couldn't.

But her brother and sister have been hiding a secret, through shame, ever since their parents' deaths, and now the time has finally come to tell Apple Bloom who she really is. But how will the youngest Apple react to what really happened? Can their family bonds survive the truth?

Princess Celestia, in order to better understand what exactly makes a spirit chaotic and how to stop it, chances a contract with her oldest and greatest enemy. Inside his domain and subjected to his will, she will find herself tested to the breaking point as sins of the past and hopes for the future collide in a battle of the minds that will have further reaching consequences than she could ever have imagined.

Note: So the continuity has been a bit skewed by my prolonged absence, the story splits off from the show right after the beginning of Season 2.
