Rancor is just a normal thestral..on the surface, he's got a lot of skeletons in his closet and hasn't been very good on sharing them, he keeps them close to his chest and has always been traveling before he can make a permanent trace on the globe. The thing he wants more than anything is to try to act normal, be normal, try to fit in. Sadly things don't ever go the way we want.

Cutie Marks are great for signifying who you are right? For your talents and skills, while many, maybe millions would agree with you, there are always a price for your skill and there's one pony that knows that very well, a simple cutie mark could mark you for life.

Set in the Rancorverse

Fluttershy lives a peaceful life with her geese, taking them every night to graze in the meadows above the palace, hurrying home before the forbidden sun rises. She tries not to look at the statues of the fallen princess with her sun cutie mark, broken and half-buried in the undergrowth. She tries not to look at the Midnight Spire as it rises before her, dark and terrible.

Trigger Warning: and please take these seriously, as this story gets dark - blood, injury, violence, elements of abusive relationships, and even some slight suggestions of non-consent. These aren't used gratuitously and are treated with the appropriate horror by the main character. Please do not read if any of this will be triggering to you. This is an exploration of what the Nightmare Moon AU would be like for poor Fluttershy, and is correspondingly dark.

This story is the first of four. The second is The Sorcerer and the Seneschal, with the others coming soon.

This was originally written as a christmas present for Zontan and if you like the tone of it I suggest you read his Shadow Within.

Everypony knows that accidents occasionally happen, even to one of the illustrious and nigh immortal rulers of the Equestria. With determination in her heart and a blemish on her once-pristine wall, Celestia sets out to mend her minor faux pas. Surely - surely applying some plaster can't be too difficult ~ right?

By no means is this a sequel to Regret, because it isn't. Okay maybe it is... but not really, cause it isn't. I should also mention in that story I referred The Dazzlings as sisters when they really aren't, I think. I asked the fandom if they are or not and they all replied yes. Another reason I referred them as sisters is because it kinda worked with that story so yeah.

Oh, and remember when I said something about unoriginal ideas in my fics. Yeah, I got some inspiration from one of Markiplier's video and suprisingly, this video by nigahiga.

AU in where Twilight is a dragon but still is Princess Celestia's student. Twilight has a more logical head on her shoulders and takes her job as a caretaker to Spike more seriously than canon.

I had some ideas that I wanted to experiment with when it came to my monster mare story ideas, so this story is kind of a combination of those ideas.

Contains: slight suggestive themes, a Japanese themed setting, ghosts, spooky situations/atmosphere, youkai themed monster mares, tentacles, slimy situations involving said tentacles, symbiosis... with tentacles.
