It can be hard to know that you'll always be left behind as others pass on. However, that is not the whole truth, I am also blessed. I have an opportunity to see history play out in front of me and tell future generations of the ponies behind the legends.

After the events in the past, Twilight can't help feeling dejected. She would never see Starswirl again. Or at least, that's what she thought right before he came knocking at her door. Meanwhile, in the past, a still somewhat immature Celestia is desperately trying to find a way to deal with the unfolding catastrophe. Luckily, her spymaster is always there, ready to lend a helping hoof.

Tirek has finally been defeated.

Left powerless after being blasted to Tartarus, Tirek now has the rest of eternity to wallow in his defeat in the deep, dark, silent recesses of the planet...or at least that's what he HOPED would happen.

His 'friend' Discord decides to take advantage of visiting hours and has a riddle for the demon centaur, the answer to which may be the key to his freedom...or just Discord messing with his head. It's hard to tell.
